This pooneer, in the month of thuy (appr. Jan 15 - Feb 15), maasi (appr. Feb 15 - Mar 15) and panguni (appr. Mar 15 - Apr 15), during the night times it looks bright and on the upper layer of the earth it forms as salt. During the day time it goes into the earth.
Since the day the pooneer has emerged, from the third day we can start collecting them. We may not be able to collect all that is required in one day itself. Every night collect it in small portions.
This pooneer is of two kinds. One has pungency and other without it. The one we take during the night times is the one with pungency and the other one is without pungency. The one we obtain during the night time is pooneer where as the other one is pooneeru.
Though the pooneer and pooneeru are from the same plant, they differ by the features. So pooneer and pooneeru are different.
