The mudras that causes good

We have seen about the yoga mudras narrated by Danvanthiri in the book "Danvanthiri 1000" in the previous posts. The other category of those mudras are the thega mudhras, that we are going to see in the further posts. He has explained about the mudras in his book from songs 679 to 713.

We have already learnt that the fingers are important in the mudras. He says that the thumb finger refers to fire, the index finger refers to wind, the middle finger refers to sky, the ring finger refers to land and the little finger refers to water.

All the strength that is required for our body to function is given only by the chakras in the body. Hence we can call them as the centre of sakthi (strength). Like wise there are more than 20000 such centre of sakthi in our body and among them seven are most important and rest of them are meant for support only says Danvanthiri.

The important chakras are moolaadhara, swadhistana, manipura, anahata, visudhi, agnjai, sagasrara. If these are functioning properly then the body functions properly and if any problems occur in it, then the problem occurs in the body too. To cure those problems these mudras can be used. He also says that these chakras can be controlled by our fingers.

The thumb finger controls the manipura, index finger controls the anahata, middle finger controls the visudhi, ring  finger controls the moolaadhara, little  finger controls the swadhishtana. And the other two chakras agnjai, and sagasrara are the gnana chakras and cannot be contolled by the fingers. There is one supporting chakra in the palm and also there are many other chakras present in the joints in the finger and those get aroused while doing these mudras and help to cure the injuries that has been caused because of these main chakras. Hence we should realise all these and start using the mudras.

The most dangerous varmam techniques

The varma kalai can be used to create a life or to destroy a life. Hence it has been taught to a very few people since ages. When the capable people are not found, this chain will be broken. Like these we have lost many rare things. Hence we must try to atleast retain the left out things.

Sanguthiri kaala varmam

"சரளமான சங்கத்தின் ஒருவிரல் கடை
saralamaana sangaththin oruviral kadai
உள்தள்ளி நின்ற வர்மமடா
ulthalli ninra varmamadaa
இதனில் தாக்கமது நிகழ்ந்தால்
ithanil thaakkamathu nigazhnthaal
ஓலமிட ஓசையது எழாது
oalamida oasaiyathu ezhaathu
எழாமலே இருவிழியது அந்தக்
ezhaamalae iruvizhiyathu anthak
காரமது சூழ்ந்து தெறித்து
kaaramathu soozhnthu theriththu
இருமலது தோன்றி மயக்கமுமாகுமே
irumalathu thoanri mayakkamumaakumae"

This varmam is located at the foldings near the throat's i.e., it is located on both the sides of the throat.  If we hit at this place then the foldings present on both the left and right side of the throat will get injured, and the breath flowing in this place could not flow as usual. As a result the person will not be able to speak and within some time his eyes will also get affected and he will fall fainted.

Dhatchanak kaala varmam

"போகுமடா மைந்தா வெள்ளையது
poagumadaa mainthaa vellaiyathu
உள்ளங்கையில் பொருந்திநின்ற
ullangaiyil porunthininra
தட்சணைக் காலம் சொல்வேன்
thatsanaik kaalam solvaen

உயிரது பிரியும் நேரமாகும் புண்ணியனே

From little above the centre of our palm, if we bend the hand, where the thumb finger which is next to the index finger points is the Dhatchanak kaala varmam. If we hit this spot with 3/4th of the pressure or with full pressure then it may lead to the death also. This Dhatchanak kaala varmam has to be used only in the final situations when we are helpless.

The varmam that makes the enemy incapable

In the unavoidable situations, when one need to protect thyself, one can use this technique of making his enemy become incapable. We shall see those details in this post. Those who have practised this under the guru only can do this, so do not attempt to do this or test this. Hence I request you to just consider this as an information only. 

Thada varmam

"மைந்தா அங்குலம் நாலின்கீழே
mainthaa angulam naalinkeezhae
செயலான பெருவிரல் இடையில்தானே
seyalaana peruviral idaiyilthaanae
பய்யவே தடவர்மம் அதற்குப் பேரு
payyavae thadavarmam atharkup paeru
பாங்காய்ச் சுவடது பதித்த வலுவுடனே
paangaaich suvadathu pathiththa valuvudanae
அல்லது களியாலோ குத்தினிக்கால்
allathu kaliyaalao kuththinikkaal
தடவர்மம் தட்டென உயர்ந்து
thadavarmam thattena uyarnthu
பாங்காய் ரத்தமது கட்டிக் கொண்டு

The thada varmam point is present in between the leg's thumb finger and the adjacent finger. At that spot if we hit with the leg's back part or with a silambam's* tip, then the place gets swollen, blood clots and causes a great pain to the whole body. As a result the enemy would not be able to attack you in turn.

Mudakku varmam

"பாரப்பா முட்டியது பின் நேர் பற்றிய
paarappaa muttiyathu pin naer patriya
வர்மமடா முடக்கு இதன்
varmamadaa mudakku ithan
பெயர்தானே இதனில் தாக்கம்

This varmam point is located exactly behind the joint in the knee, in the place where we fold the leg. On hitting at that point, the place gets swollen and causes more pain. As that varmam point gets hurt, the muscle gets strained and will be unable to fold the leg. If in that varmam, if it get hit forcefully, then the person who got wounded will not be able to walk with that leg in his entire life time.

Types of Varmam

Agathiyar has categorized the varma kalai into four types. Based on the location of the varmam points  in the body and the way of utilizing them he have categorized them as "padu varmam", "thodu varmam", "thattu varmam", "nokku varmam".

Padu varmam

Among the four varma kalai, this is the most dangerous one. If the varma points in the body gets hurt or affected then that varmam is called as “Padu varmam”. As the person who has been hit with this padu varmam, there is a chance of losing their life also. Hence this is considered as the most dangerous one says Agathiyar.

The person who got hit in the padu varma points, will fall unconscious, his mouth will be wide open and the tongue falls out, foam comes out of the mouth and the part where the varmam is located chills out. Agathiyar also says that all can not do it, and only those with expertise can do it.

Thodu varmam

This is also like padu varmam as it happens due to hitting strongly. But still it is not as dangerous as padu varmam. This can be cured quickly.

Thattu varmam

This affects the opponent by just hitting with a single finger, and does not cause much pain to the body.

Nokku varmam

This affects by just seeing at the same place constantly. Agathiyar says that this varmam is also dangerous. He also says that there is no one in this world superior to those who are expertise in this varmam.

Also he has listed out the important varmam points in the body. As per that,

Around the head, there are 37 important varmam points
Around the heart, there are 13 important varmam points
Around the body's front side, there are 15 important varmam points
Around the back side of the body, there are 10 important varmam points
Around the hand's front side, there are 9 important varmam points
Around the hand's back side, there are 8 important varmam points
Around the leg's  front side, there are 19  important varmam points
Around the leg's front side, there are 13 important varmam points
Below the shoulder, there are 8  important varmam points.

Who can practice the varmam?

The varma kalai should be practised under the guidance of a guru. All the books that we have got can only serve as information. As it is a traditional art, one can attain mastery in it only after a long practice and correct guidance.

There are only a very few members who are experts in this art. Mostly they are not known to all of them, they just preach it to those who come to them only. Anybody who has learnt from their gurus will never try to advertise about their learning. As told by Agathiyar there are certain prerequisite characteristics to be present with anyone who wants to practice this art.

Agathiyar says about the basic features that one should have sharp mind, understand everything easily, kind hearted to serve others, patience, calmness and should not be short tempered. Also they should practice it with an idea of serving the people for curing their diseases but not practice for harming others.

Except in the situations when some danger occurs to their life, rest of the time they should never use it with a notion to harm others. Even in situation while their life is at risk and they should use it against your opponent and also should try to win the opponent only rather than causing harm to him.

An expert in the varma kalai can definitely make any strong man to lose his strength at some point with this technique. By attacking him at some particular varma points in the body, one can also decide his death date. The death caused in this way will be very horrible and pathetic.

Agathiyar has categorized this into four types

Padu varmam

Thodu varmam

Thattu varmam

Nokku varmam

Art of medicine! Art of death!!

One of the siddha medicine methods which has changed as a self-protection technique as days went on and had changed as an art of killing enemies is the varma kalai.  In the art of war fight it is called as "Narambadi (hitting the nerve)".

Our body, which is composed of the panjapoothas*, is made up of the veins and nerves. The place where these are connected with each other is the vital part of the body. There are 108 such places in our body. The positioning and way of handling of these places are more important in maintaining the strength and health of the body.

The varma kalai has been created by Agathiyar. Apart from the siddha medicine, in the ayurveda medicine also there are information about the varmas. Agathiyar says about this varma kalai in the following way.

"அண்ணலே உலகத்தில் வாழும் மாந்தர்
annalae ulagaththil vaazhum maanthar
காயமுறு விழுதலாலும் விண்ணடியில்
kaayamuru vizhuthalaalum vinnadiyil
பிணையற்று விழ்தலும் விழுந்தநீசி
pinaiyatru vizhthalum vizhunthaneesi
சிதறி துண்டங்கே வையனாலும்
sithari thundangae vaiyanaalum
மண்ணதிலே வெகுநாளாய் துக்கமுற்று
mannathilae vegunaalaai thukkammutu
மாளவே வர்மமது கொள்ளலாலும்
maalavae varmamathu kollalaalum
திண்ணமுடன் இவைகளிலே பலதுக்காக
thinnamudan ivaikalilae palathukkaaka
செப்புகிற யெண்ணையொரு கியாய மாத்திரை
seppukira yennaiyoru kiyaaya maaththirai"

Though many Siththars have told about the varma kalai, the "Odivumurivusaari" by Agathiyar is considered as the most important one. Now this rarest book is with very few people only. The techniques which today's neurologists are not aware is also written in those books many centuries ago by Agathiyar in a very clear and simpler way. 

He has told about the twists, numbs that happen in nerves and their effects, symptoms, preventions and remedies. He also says that if something gets affected in the positioning of those parts where the life is present there are no cure for it. Also in the book he has mentioned about the method of preparing the relevant medicines and the way of using them also.

Mantras to attain education, wealth, courage

Mantras are of subtle form and they do not have any meaning. This is the science of vibrations caused by sound notes. This is not the place for the epics and the stories that exaggerate. These are all the composition of the words that are written very truthfully. They may contain one word or combination of many words. The notion of the person using should do it only for attaining the benefits that is meant for the mantra. In that ways, in this post we shall see about the mantras that could benefit in terms of education, wealth, courage and the way of attaining them. These mantras have been taken from the Agathiyar's book named "Agathiyar 12000".

Agathiyar has told about the mantra that is related to attaining the education i.e., the mantra of the goddess Saraswathi and the way of attaining the prosperity of the mantra in the following way.

"பாரப்பா சரஸ்வதியின் மந்திர பீஜம்
paarappaa sarasvathiyin manthira beejam
நல்வாக்கு வாணி ஸ்ரீம் காயத்திரி என்று
nalvaakku vaani sreem kaayaththiri enru
லட்சமுரு செபித்தாயானால் காணப்பா
latsamuru sebiththaayaanaal kaanappaa
புத்திகூர்மையா ம்வாக்குவ ன்மைசித்தே
puththikoormaiyaa mvaakkuva nmaisiththae"

- அகத்தியர் 12000 (Agathiyar 12000)

The Saraswathi's beeja mantra, "nalvaakku vaani sreem gayathri" has to be chanted 108 times in the evening times. This has to be repeated for 100000 times. By doing it the mantra siddhi is achieved and the mind gets sharp and the talking capabilities also increase says Agatiyar.

Here, 
the mantra is - "nalvaakku vaani sreem gayathri" 
the time of using it - evening (dusk)
the benefit of the mantra - to make the brain sharp and to increase the talent to argue.

Agathiyar has told about the mantra that is related to attaining the wealth and the way of attaining the mantra siddhi in the following way.

"சித்தியாம் இலக்குமியின் மந்திர பீஜமப்பா
siththiyaam ilakkumiyin manthira beejamappaa
சிறப்பாக இடாயி இடாயி டாகினி டிடிடி றீங்
sirappaaga idaayi idaayi taakini dididi reeng
கென்று பத்தியாய் லட்சமுரு ஓது ஓது
kenru paththiyaai latsamuru oathu oathu
சகலசெல்வமும் கூடிவரும் தரணியிலேபகராதே
sagalaselvamum koodivarum tharaniyilaepakaraathae"

- அகத்தியர் 12000 (Agathiyar 12000)

The Ilakumi's beeja mantra "idaayi idaayi daakini dididi reeng" has to be chanted 108 times in the evening times. This has to be repeated for 100000 times. By doing it, the mantra siddhi is achieved and all the wealth will be attained says Agatiyar.

Here, 
the mantra is - "idaayi idaayi daakini dididi reeng" 
the time of using it - evening(dusk)
the benefit of the mantra - to get all the wealth.

Agathiyar has told about the mantra that is related with the lord of courage, Veerabadhra for attaining the courage and the way of attaining the mantra siddhi in the following way.

"ஆச்சப்பா வீரபத்திர மந்திர பீஜம் கேளு
aachappaa veerapaththira manthira beejam kaelu
அகோராயா வீரவீரபுரபுர அரிஅரிஎன்றுலட்சம்
agoaraayaa veeraveerapurapura ariarienrulatsam
மாச்சலிலா செபித்துவந்தால் மைந்தா
maachchalilaa sebiththuvanthaal mainthaa
வீரபத்திரர் வீரமய் வருவார் சார்ந்தே
veerapaththirar veeramai varuvaar saarnthae"

- அகத்தியர் 12000 (Agathiyar 12000)

The Veerabadhra's beeja mantra "Agoaraya veeraveerapurapura ari ari" has to be chanted 108 times in the evening times. This has to be repeated for 100000 times. By doing it the mantra siddhi is achieved and Veerabadhra would bless with courage says Agathiyar.

Here, 
the mantra is - "aghoraya veera veera pura pura ari ari"
the time of using it - evening(dusk)
the benefit of the mantra - to get the brave assistance of Veerabadhra.

Agathiyar says that these mantras are to be practised  under the guidance of the guru and begin by chanting Vinayaka mantra and by focussing the mind, anyone can attain the benefits. Anybody who practices with faith can attain those benefits.

Mantra Siddhi

Mantra is a subtle form and the sorcery is the technique of utilising them. It is quite common that for any action there would be corresponding reaction also. On the same lines mantras and sorcery also has got certain benefits. Those benefits are called as mantra siddhi. Only if the mantra is attained, we can attain the benefits out of it.

We have found evidences saying that in our brain there are so many rooms, the sound of the mantra is hidden in them, that mantra sounds which are filled in the rooms of the brain gives out the power when the vibrations reach to them. The meaningless sounds and the vibrations cause by them and and the energy emitted by them.. as such if we analyse these thoughts we can found many other views also.

There is an interesting information behind the reason that the Siththars have written their songs with a hidden meaning. The evidences say that the Siththars have cursed the books and thereby they have changed their meanings in that ways and by doing the corresponding remedy, we can get rid of the curse and the meaning would be so clear. Mostly this information is also kept hidden only. Only under the guidance of a guru we can know about all these informations.

For example see an mantra told by Agathiyar which could be practised by everyone.

"ஆதி மயமாய் விளங்கு மந்திரதோத்திரம்
aathi mayamaai vilangu manthirathoaththiram
அரி ஓம் ஓம்யென்ற ருட்கண் சாத்தி
ari om omyenra rutkan saaththi
நீதியுடன் நேமமனுட்டா னஞ்செய்து

The types of mantras and the characteristics of the conjurer

From the past two posts, you might have realised that the mantras are the measure of tricks and the sorcery is the technique of utilising them. The limits of these tricks is too huge. But practically most of them have a thought that these are all kinds of legerdemain, conjuring tricks and cheating plays only. 

Agathiyar has told about the truthful sorcery in the following way.

"மெய்யான மாந்திரீக ஏதென்றால்
meyyaana maanthreegaa aethenraal
மேதினியாய் சித்தர் மொழி அனேகமுண்டு
maethiniyaai Siiththar mozhi anegamundu
வையகங்கள் தானறிக மாந்திரீக
vaiyagangal thaanarika maanthireega
மதிப்புடனே கடவுள் பதந்தனை வணங்கி
mathippudanae kadavul paganthanai vanangi
கூறுவேன் புலத்தியனே எல்லாம் மெய்தான்
kooruvaen Pulathiyanae ellaam meithaan
துய்யவே உச்சாடனம் பொய்யுமாமோ
thuyyavae uchchaadanam poyyumaamao
துப்பரவாய் தேவதைகள் தானுமப்பா
thupparavaai devathaikal thaanumappaa
வையகங்கள் தானறிய வருதல் பொய்யோ
vaiyagangal thaanariya varuthal poyyoa
நண்ணான கெசகரண வித்தையப்பா
nannaana kesakarana viththaiyappaa
நாநிலத்தில் மெய்யாகும் பொய்யல்ல
naanilaththil meyyaagum poyyalla
பெண்ணான மாதருக்கு குளிசங் கட்டல்
pennaana maatharukku kulisang kattal
பேருலகில் பொய்யல்ல மெய்யேயாகும்
paerulakil poyyalla meyyaeyaakum
தண்ணமுடன் நம்பு எல்லாம் மெய்யே
thannamudan nambu ellaam meyyae
சத்தியமாய் நடதவர்க்கு எல்லாஞ் சித்தே
saththiyamaai nadathavarkku ellaanj siththae"

As per the information we got the Siththars have used the mantras to cure the diseases, to protect from the poisonous creatures, bad spirit, sorcery, witchcraft, voodoos, to increase the strength and to resolve the issues of people who have got the worries and sorrows.

Karuvoorar in his 'Attamaasiththu' book has categorised the mantras based on their characteristics. They are

1. Moola Mantras
2. Beeja Mantras
3. Panjaakara Mantras
4. Devaadhi Mantras
5. Vasiya Mantras
6. Asthira Mantras
7. Mahasakthi Mantras
8. Siththa Mantras

Now-a-days all the mantras in the use are more difficult to follow. There are certain methods by chanting it, which we can make magnificent power. The usage of this mantras are still with a hidden meaning only in the Siththar songs. The capacity of recognising them is possible for the capable people only.

"அப்பனே! மாந்திரீய சிவயோகிக்கு
appanae! maanthireeya sivayokikku
குன்றாத குருவருளுமிருக்க வேண்டும்
kunraatha guruvarulumirukka vaendum
கூர்மயான புத்தியது மிகவும் வேண்டும்
koormayaana puththiyathu migavum vaendum
வென்றிடவே பொய்கொலை களவுமாற்கம்
venridavae poikolai kalavumaarkam
வேதாந்தக் கண்மணியே நீக்கல் வேண்டும்
vedaanthak kanmaniyae neekkal vaendum
தொன்றிசையாம் குருமொழியை மகுடமாகத்
thonrisaiyaam gurumozhiyai magudamaagath
தோற்றமுடன் கொள்பவனே சித்தனாமே
thoatramudan kolbavanae siththanaamae"

Mantras and Sorcery

In the view of Siththars, the mantras are nothing but the vibrations that are present in the sound. Anybody can practice  and get benefits out of it. Under the guidance of the right guru anyone can learn them. This can be used for both good and bad purposes. These Siththars having realised about all these, they have maintained them so secretly. 

Though they were so careful these mantras somehow were found into the hands of the evil people thereby now common people are feared and do not trust all these mantras. Even today most of them cheat people telling that they are the representatives of the Siththars and the angels who bless with boons are under their control. We have been seeing such people who cheat people with money by saying all these fake stories.

Having realised about all these Karuvoorar has already told in the beginning of his book "Attaamasiththu" about how to identify such fake witcheries.

"வணங்கு வாயுலகினிலே மாந்திரீகர்
vanangu vaayulakinilae maanthireegar
மகிதலமும் என்வசமே என்று சொல்வார்
makithalamum envasamae enru solvaar
கணங்களெல்லாம் எந்தனுக்குச்சித்தியென்பார்
kanangalellaam enthanukkuch siththiyenpaar
கண்ணதனில் கண்டேனே தெய்வமென்பார்
kannathanil kandaen theivamenbaar
குணமான வக்கிரத்தின் மாறெல்லாம்
gunamaana vakkiraththin maarellaam
குறிகண்டு மாறுவோரென்று சொல்வார்
kurikandu maaruvoarenru solvaar
இணங்காதே கோடிகோடி உருவே செய்தொம்
inangaathae koadikoadi uruvae seythom
என்றல்லோ வெடுத்துரைப்பார் மட்டிமாடே
enralloa veduththuraippaar mattimaadae"

The mantras which has to be used for the good purposes are used for controlling the people and grabbing money from them, mesmerising women. This is a very sorrowful thing. This is the reason why the Siththars did not spread about it to all the people, rather they shared only with the trust worthy disciples.

Mantras are also a kind of formulas in mathematics. Rather than considering it as a blind belief and keeping it aside if we consider it and make researches over them, then we can get to know about many other surprising things hidden. There are many things hidden in the mantras that could make favour to the people.

Everybody who have senses can create the mantras but the point of attaining success lies in the way we put it into action. The method where we use the mantras in a correct way and putting them into action is called as sorcery or witchery.

The Siththars have categorized the mantras into eight types based on their features. Also they have mentioned about the features one should possess while handling these mantras.

What is mantra?

This universe has been formed from the  the sound only.The sound is hidden within the silence too. We are now living in the world where it is filled up with the vibrations of this sound. Sound and the vibrations that it cause are the fundamentals for the art of mantra. To be even more precise, sound and the echo it causes is the fundamental of the art of mantra.

The sound travels in the form of waves everywhere except in vacuum.  In the science all the sounds are categorised based on frequency. It is also proved that the things has also got certain frequency. The idea of this post is to see how the Siththars have used them.

Agathiyar in his book "Agathiyar Maanthreega Kaaviyam" has told about the mantras in the following way.

"தொண்டு செய்து பெற்றவர்கள் கோடியுண்டு
thondu seythu petravarkal koadiyundu
தொல்லை யென்று விட்டவர்கள் கோடியுண்டு
thollai yenru vittavarkal koadiyundu
விண்டுமே தெரிந்ததுவும் கோடியுண்டு
vindumae therinthathuvum koadiyundu
விட்டகுறை பட்டவர்கள் கோடியுண்டு
vittakurai pattavarkal koadiyundu
சண்டமாரு தம்போல் மந்திரத்தை
sandamaaru thampoal manthiraththai
தரணியில் கற்றவர் கோடியாமே
tharaniyil katravar koadiyaamae"

Most of the Siththars have made their clarifications about the mantras into a book. But most of them have written it in a hidden meaning only. Hence we could not figure out the exact sense of their writings. Also there is no perfect translation of those books, hence it always involves a lots of controversies.

As per the Siththars all the object have been evolved from the sound only. Hence all these have got the form of mantra. By making certain kind of sound we can create those mantras. With that mantra we can try to control that object as per our wish. They have also told that by using mantras even the panjaboothas* could be controlled.

*Panjapootham - the five elements viz., earth, air, fire, water and sky.

Willingness too charity - Thirumoolar!!

"ஆர்க்கும் இடுமின் அவரிவர் என்னன்மின்

பார்த்திருந் துண்மின் பழம்பொருள் போற்றன்மின்

வேட்கை யுடையீர் விரைந்தொல்லை உண்ணன்மின்

காக்கை கரைந்துண்ணும் காலம் அறிமினே

"யாவர்க்குமாம் இறைவர்க்கொரு பச்சிலை
yaavarkkumaam iraivarkkoru pachilai
யாவர்க்குமாம் பசுவுக்கொரு வாயுறை

யாவர்க்குமாம் உண்ணும்போதொரு கைப்பிடி
yaavarkkumaam unnumpoathoru kaippidi
யாவர்க்குமாம் பிறர்க்கின்னுரை தானே!
yaavarkkumaam pirarkkinnurai thaanae!"

Whatever you can give, give it without any partiality to everyone, this is only called as charity. Anything that wipes out the sorrow of other living beings is good only. This kind of charity has to be done with whole heart with same thought, action and words. By doing this kind of charity it takes an individual and his people to an higher level.

Also only giving away money and wealth alone is not charity, giving a bunch of grass to a hungry cow and praying to god by spreading an herb to god is also charity. Also talking with words which do not hurt others is also a kind of charity only says Thirumoolar.

A saying that has a great meaning with simpler words!!

Few words with open heart

"சித்தர் என்றும் சிறியர் என்றும் அறியொணாத சீவர்காள் !
Siththar enrum siriyar enrum ariyonaatha seevarkaal! 
சித்தர் இங்கு இருந்த போது பித்தர் என்று எண்ணுவீர் 
Siththar ingu iruntha poathu piththar enru ennuveer 
சித்தர் இங்கு இருந்தும் என்னபித்தன் நாட்டிருப்பரே;
Siththar ingu irunthum ennapiththan naattirupparae; 
அத்தன் நாடும் இந்தநாடும் அவர்களுக்கெ லாமொன்றே
aththan naadum inthanaadum avarkalukke laamonrae."

For the first time I wish to share some of my views about the Siththars and their views. My idea is not stress or indulge any ideas that I am posting here. Also I never try to create an image for myself. It is not possible for me also. I only consider the grace of the guru as important one and I am a common Tamil girl.

According to me, Siththars and Siththalogy is the one that has not found recognition because of the ruling class. The reason behind not finding recognition may be time, society, political reasons. By discussing this we may not attain anything. At this point I need to mention one more point also. There are no evidences that the angels have dropped the Siththars onto the earth. Also there are no proofs that at their time of birth, the planets and stars has blessed them. There is no information which says that they are the representatives of god.

Also in the literature of the Siththars, they have written everything with a hidden meaning with a notion that it should not reach to the hands of evil people. The Siththars who have spoke about the equality has a important note about the point that it should not reach anybody's hands. If we go deep into the topic and think, it will result in discussion and argument only.

All the Siththars are the representatives of the common people and ancient Tamilians. Their attempts in their life, hard work  search, research, clarifications all these only have made them to attain wisdom and reach to the level of a scientist. Because of the rulers they were not noticed to a great extent. They were living in the forests, mountains in the arms of the mother nature. It is a bothering thing that most of their inventions have been hidden as days passed. 

There is nothing more worse than being forgotten by the common people about the great people who were living among the common people. Among the books of the Siththars, the wondering point is that some of them are the fake ones. To identify those fake ones and to differentiate is the only way we can convey our humbleness to them. This cannot be done by an individual or by a community of people, rather it must be done by the entire Tamilians.

As a part of it this blog is one such attempt only. My idea is not to worship them as a blind belief. My idea is only to travel with their ideas and attain a clarity. In that series I just take the content from the books, I have got and visualise them here in the blog. After all my studies is over, with the grace of the guru I wish to research all of them.

Siththars are beyond the discussions and descriptions, we need to understand the inner sense. Those who realise this would never call them as Siththars. I do not wish to talk anything about those people who call them as Siththars. The song of the Sivavaakkiyar can only be the answer for them.

"முத்திசேரச் சித்திஇங்கு முன்னளிப்பேன் பாரெனச்
 muththisaerach siththiingu munnalippaen paarenach
சத்தியங்கள் சொல்லி எங்கும் சாமிவேடம் பூண்டவர்
saththiyangal solli engum saamivaedam poondavar 
நித்தியம் வயிறு வளர்க்க நீதி ஞானம் பேசியே
niththiyam vayiru valarkka neethi gnanam paesiyae 
பத்தியாய்ப் பணம்பறித்துப் பாழ்நரகில் வீழ்வரே
paththiyaaip panampariththup paazhnaragil veezhvarae"

Finally, Siththars are respectable people but not beyond the comments.

"ஐயுணர்வு எய்தியக் கண்ணும் பயமின்றே
aiyunarvu eythiyak kannum payaminrae 
மெய்யுணர்வு இல்லா தவர்க்கு
meyyunarvu illaa thavarkku."
