Agathiyar’s blessings of Aarooda Yantra and its benefits

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

In the previous post, we have seen introduction about Agathiyar’s aaroodam which is taken from the book “Agathiyar 12000”. Today we will discuss about structure of the yantra used for telling this aarooda technique and also the benefits of the first five numbers.

The figure shown above is the yantra given by Agathiyar for foretelling method and is prepared as per the instruction given in Agathiyar’s song. It may be looking very simple but it encloses major power within it. This most powerful yantra should be made on silver or copper plate. Already I discussed the method of making the yantra and interested reader can have a glance at it in the older posts.

Let us see the interpreted hidden meaning for the first five numbers.

Aaroodam!... Agathiyar's Aaroodam!

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

Aaroodam is an art of foretelling or prophecy. Already we have seen it in detail in the Agathiyar paaichigai aaroodam series in this blog. New readers can read, Paachigai Aaroodam, before continuing this one.

In paaichigai aaroodam, the foretelling is made possible by throwing paaichigai and the report is given on the basis of outcome of the number. This method also uses number, however in unique method. Nowadays, we have seen many people foretelling with Agathiyar board. However, I am still unaware that, whether they are using this method for foretelling.

One yantra is necessary for this foretelling technique. One cannot use this without the 64 box yantra. Yantra should be made up of silver or copper plate and has its own restriction to use this yantra. Important among this is, one should not apply this technique in the absence of sunlight.

The structure of yantra is too simple. The yantra encloses 8X8 square boxes and filled merely with numbers. Those boxes were filled with numbers. This technique of aaroodam is not complex and hence easy to use. Anyone can use this technique to foretell and used for oneself or can be used for others too.

How to tell the future using this yantra?

First place this yantra before their favourite god and pray. Now, pray guru and think about the need for which we need solution and touch anyone of the number in yantra. Now note that number and read the poem given by Agathiyar for that number to see the future. How simple!
Anyone in need can use the same procedure to get solution. Ask them to pray their favourite god and make them to touch one number to see the result of their question. Some will ask to think a number in mind and by knowing the number, they will foretell acoordingly.

Ofcourse everything is okay! How to prepare this yantra?

Vasiyak kaappu!

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

Vasiyak kaapu – Band, bangle, bracelet or ankelet used to do vasiyam

We have already discussed more about vasiyam in older posts. Nowadays, many people were ready to give money to get the talisman, vasiyak kaapu etc. Regarding this type of vasiyam things, plenteous information are available in Siththars book and Malayala mantrika book. In that sense, Agathiyar has said about a vasiyak kaapu.

This information is taken from the book “Agathiyar 12000” written by Agathiyar.

aamenra vasiyam onru sollakkaelu

uththathoru viththaithanai ulakaththoarkku
uraiyaathae uraiththathinaal uruthipoamae.

Take the chord of kodi arukampul along with its root and bend it as it form the shape of pranava mantra “OM” and immerse the chord in honey for the period of 48 days. After 48 days, every liquid will get dried up and that chord is in good bending state.

Now take and melt the equal quantity of gold, silver and copper and melt it to form a plate. Now place the chord of grass in that plate and role it up as it has structure of sun and join both the ends. Now place this metal round in good sunlight radiance and worship it.

Now, one can wear this metal round (kaapu) in right hand. This will magnetize and charm the girls, king and even animals. This trick was disclosed by Lord Siva and one should not reveal this trick to common people. Agathiyar instructed not to tell this to common people, if told the trick will not work.

How to sleep?

Author: தோழி / Labels: , ,

Sleeping is basically an essential thing for better human health. One third of a day, we people normally spent in sleeping. Even, nowadays science also imposes the necessity of deep sleep. Sleep gives rest and peace for body and mind.

Siththars gave plenteous information about sleep. Even though, it is an essential activity in human life,  sithars mainly denoted sleep as the focused mind and the relaxed body. It is the form of sleepless sleep. Pathirakiriyaar denoted this stage as follows:

ஆங்காரம் உள்ளடக்கி ஐம்புலனை சுட்டறுத்து
aangaaram ulladakki aimpulanai suttaruththu
thoongaamal thoongi sukam peruvathu ekkaalam?

Sleepless sleep is the highest awaken state which is embedded with energy from cosmos. Moreover Siththars poem have a note that, breathe get wasted during our sleep. Agathiyar in one of his poem told that, one should not waste breathe during eating, intercourse and sleeping. The sleepless sleep told by Siththars is high blissful state and can be attained by any person with dedication and focus.

Siththars poem also has following quotes that, one should lessen their sleeping time even during the yoga practice. That too, sleep during day time is not entertained. How to sleep at night? Theriyar explained that trick in his book  “Maruthuva Kaaviyam” as follows:

பாரப்பா சிவயோகம் பண்ணும்பேர்க்கு
paarappaa sivayogam pannumpaerkku
parivaaka niththirathaan vaendaamappaa
naerappaa raakkaala niththiraithaanpanna
nilayaagach sootchamonru nikazththuraenkael
vaarappa varisaiyaaik kaalthaanneeti
vakaiyaaka niththiraithaan pannavaendaam
oarappaa orupakka maakachaainthu
uththamanae maerkaiyai maerkkolvaaye

kollappaa onrinmael saainthukondu
kurippaa nithhtirai seithuneenga
allappaa ashtaanga yogampaaru
appanae sivayogam vaasiyogam
nallappaa piranaaya mounayogam
nalamaana kavunaththin yogampaaru
vallapaa vaasiyathu keezhnoakkaathu
vakaiyaaka maenoakki yaerumpaarae.

We should not sleep by keeping the body upward as we do normally. We should practice sleeping like by keeping the body sideways by keeping the hand underneath the head which makes the vaasi (breathe) to move upward and not downward. This sleeping practice helps to achieve the following easily; siva yoga, vaasi yoga, pranayama, mouna yoga, kevuna yoga.

Readers may find a doubt that is this practice possible in this mechanical hasty world? Irrespective of discussing the possibility and impossibility of sleeping practice that is discussed above, this post generally aimed to put forth the information given by Siththars and ancestors to this generation.

Permanent cure for thaemal!

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

*Thaemal – small pale white patches on the skin; Tinea versicolor

Today we are going to see about one medicinal tip for beauty care!

Irrespective of gender, both men and women were doing everything possible to have glowing skin. And with this attitude, different cosmetics are blooming in market and their manufacturers living a prosperous life.  Nowadays people were ignoring the easily available natural cosmetics whereas, they prefer the same thing if packaged in neat cover with high prices.

We generally refer the change of colour in skin as tinea versicolor which has numerous medical reasons behind it. Even though, tons of medicines available in allopathy, they are comparatively much costlier than Tamil Siddha medicine. It is termed as “hand cure” or “grannys cure” and everything is ignored and  left behind in last generation itself hence, no one have any knowledge on this.

The thaemal is termed as “Mangu” in Tamil and Siththar Theraiyar gave cure for this in one of his poem which is shown below:

கொள்ளவே யரிதாரப் பளிங்கு மாகுங்
kollavae yarithaarap palingu maakung
kuraiyaamal palamaraithaan niraiyoar katti
ullavae narkoavai rasaththai vaangi
uravaaka yizaiththu vaziththeduththu kondu
mellavae ainthirunaal yirupoathunthaan
vilangavae aduththaduththu poosumpoathu
thullavae thirumukaththil padarum vaangum
thonthiththu nillarithu thulainthu poamae.

This song is taken out from the book ‘Theraiyar Maruthuva Kaaviyam’. According to this song, this medicine will cure the tinea versicolor, marks and dots in skin.
.
Arithaaram* is a marble like stone or powder available in the general shop itself. Take half palam* of  solid arithaaram and grind nicely it with extract of ivy gourd. Then, apply this mixture daily two times on morning and evening continuously for 10 days on the affected part of the skin to get the clear and beautiful skin.

People with tinea vericolor can try it and suggest this remedy to anyone in need.

*Arithaaram – yellow orpiment
*Palam – 35 grams

Human Anatomy in Siththars view

Author: தோழி / Labels:

The main success of allopathy medicine alias English medicine gains its popularity due its enormous growth in the human anatomical scientific approach. Still, other medicinal treatments depend on the allopathy’s anatomical sciences for curing the disease.

Anatomical science elaborately describes the structure of humans and animals and it is grouped into two types. The first type is called ‘macroscopic anatomy’, where the structure of the organs can be examined with the help of naked eye itself. And another type is called ‘microscopic anatomy’, where the structure of the parts is examined with the help of instrument called microscope.

The information might be little bit elaborative, since it is my field. Cheers! Leaving the allopathy treatmet, other treatments has its own view towards human anatomy. In this sense, Siththars gave detailed lecture on human anatomy, even in the period of no scientific or technological development. Let us see, what Siththars discussed about our human anatomy.

Human body is made up of 96 organs bundled up together. Of course! Let us see what Thirumoolar told in this regard;

"பூதங்கள் ஐந்தும் பொறியவை ஐந்துளும்
poothangal ainthum poriyavai ainthulum
aeetham padanjeythu irunthu puranilai
oathum malamkunam aakumaa thaaramodu
aathi avaththaik karuvithon nootraarae”

(Thirumoolar)

The basic of the Siddha medicine is having the in depth knowledge on 96 organs. If we know the basic nature, function and the properties of those organs, we can understand the greatness of the Siddha medicine. Then we can use this medicine effectively.

These 96 organs were divided into 20 types. I have omitted the corresponding poems considering  the length of the post.

Let us see the 20 types below:

Arivu
Iruvinai
Moovaasai
Anthakaranangal
Pancha poothangal
Pancha gnanenthiriyangal
Pancha kanmenthiriyangal
Pancha thanmaathiraikal
Pancha koasangal
Moondru mandalangal
Kunangal
Malangal
Pinikal
Aedanai
Aathaarangal
Avasthaikal
Thaathukkal
Raagangal
Dasa naadigal
Dasa vaayukkal

The above 20 types has the 96 organs, which controls the function of the body. Any change in any one of the above leads to ill health.

Let us see the detailed information about such important 96 organs in the upcoming post.

In the Karuda rishi forest, there is Karuda rishi ashram and he lives with his pupils there. To the north of his ashram, there lies temple of Lord Ganapathy under which plenteous treasure was kept.

Before attaining samadhi, king Thirisangu located all his navakodi treasure under Lord Gananpathy temple before Siththars. No one knows this treasure other than Siththars. One technique is there to open the treasure and the technique is under the feet of the Lord Ganapathy.

This information was given to Agathiyar by his guru and Agathiyar also approved the genuinity of information.

We can see the more interesting information about this ancient temple in internet.

Agathiyar told his student Pulathiyar as, this ancient and glory rich place hides treasure and inform him not to disclose this information. Since, this world is full of greedy and bad people, Agathiyar forbid his student to disclose the secret. After Pulathiyar, this information reaches us via their students.

Agahiyar told the information with respect to what he had seen. Around 100ft down from the ground level of Kallalagar temple, millions of gold were kept hidden. None of the people were aware of it and also the Siththars who went to worship the lord also ignored that treasure.

Only the people linked with fate can get Agathiyar12000 book and if anyone got this book, they can know about the secret hidden places of treasure in Kallazhagar temple. One cannot even get a hint about treasure if they do not have full book.

Agathiyar gave permission as, ‘With goddess Manoanmani as evidence, I will tell you what, Ashwini thevar told me. Only if you are really in need of money, you can go and take only the necessary amount of fortune.”

The Chola kings built this temple during their long ruling period with the help of many sculptors. They built the temple in square shape and under that they built cellar with six face polygonal rooms. Agathiyar told his student, “Below the principal god of the temple, I will tell you what they have placed”.

They digged out a hole below the principal god and they placed Kuruniyaashtaka treasure and superior quality gold and then closed this hole with a wall. Above that, they placed the principal god Ranganathar statue.
Agathiyar told that, Ranganathar will remain there elegantly for long period. Moreover, no one can estimate the treasure and fortune hidden under each stature and the sculpture there.

More things were hidden under the gopuram (tower), mandapam (large hall) and pools and temple was built over these valuable things. He also was explaining the fact behind these hidden treasures. All these were placed by Chola kings before they went and died in battle field.

Interesting information right!!

Let us see the interesting information about the Kallazhagar temple, a Vainava temple, in the upcoming post.

Treasure – Fortune – Siththars notes

Author: தோழி / Labels:

Three years back, we all were excited and talking about the treasure taken out from the Padmanaba Sswami temple of Trivandrum, Kerala. Considering this as the chance, many people put forth their idea of locating the treasure in temples of Tamil nadu also.

Is there any treasure in temples of Tamilnadu? May or may not be present right! However, the mere thought of treasure itself induce our excitation. That too, finding the hidden treasure of our ancestor is really an adventurous one right?

In the olden days, Saiva and Vainava are the two glorious religion spreaded all over Tamilnadu. However, Jainism and Buddhism formed in between and faded away. The rise and fall of one religion mainly depends upon the ruling kings of that period. Even, kings show their power and prestigious pride in building temples. In this sense, we can see the comparatively big temples were built by son to overcome their father’s glory.

Even, kings hide their valuable treasure in the underground room in temple during the war period and the king who won the war, will search for treasure in temples and ravage it. With the joy of having ravaged treasure, the culture of presenting his own treasure to that temple itself is commonly practiced.

As the locations of those treasures were kept secret, it becomes hidden and forgotten as time passes. However, merely hearing the story of treasure which is under the security of bootham* may be interesting leaving the truth behind.

Now a days, we decoded the information regarding the treasure through the palm leaves (suvadi) and the sculptures, unfortunately no one is interested to verify this. The treasure taken out from the “Padmanaba Swami temple ” is also decoded form the books. Similarly, everyone started out with their guesses and evidences of treasure location in Tamilnadu. As a result, rather than the glory of god, interest on hidden treasure becomes predominant among the people..

The famous archaeologist from Tamilnadu, Kudavaayil Balasubramaniyan, sent his guess and idea regarding the treasure location. In particular he  quoted Thiruvaaroor Thiyagaraja Swamy temple and Srirangam Aranganaathar temple, with respect to his archaeological evidences,. He also enclosed the evidences in his writings to government and the verification of these evidences is in hand of the government.

Readers may get the doubt regarding the relevancy of this blog and treasure locating things. Right?

Of course there is relevance!

Siththar Agathiyar also quoted the location of treasure in Srirangam Ranganathar temple in his poem and the relevant information is likely to be discussed in the upcoming post.

Will catch you up in the next post. Stay tuned!

Some explanations on Navapaashaanam..

Author: தோழி / Labels: , ,

The treasure taken out from the “Padmanaba swami temple” of Trivandrum, Kerala has gained the attention of over all people from the World. However, similar information is available in Siththar’s poems too, which I palnned to share from today.

 But...

Thiru. Vaanavan yogi putforth his adimration as well as criticization on the original Tamil post concerning Pancha Paashaana Lingam. Although, I answered him in that comment column itself, I thought it is necessary to give clarification in this regard with respect to his certain criticized comments.

He stated that, “only the ignorant fellows will tell that, Nava Baashaanam is combination of nine  paashaanam” in the comment column.

Despite of the pandits knowledge of Nava Paashaanam, let us see the enlightening view of Siththars, who born among the normal people and attained this eternal state. All the information shared here are collected from following books; Bogar Nikandu, Bogar Vaithiya Kaaviyam, Bogar 7000 and Pulipaani Poojavithi 116.

In the following poem, Bogar stated the reason of Nava Paashaanam making to his student Pulipaani Siththar;

mannaana thaekamathu irunthumenna
makithalaththil nedungaalam vaaznthumenna
vannamudan kaliyukaththil aniyaayangal
vaakudanae sathaakaalam nadakkumpaaru
nadakkavae kaliyukaththaar pizaikkavaendi
naamaana manoanmaniyaal kirupaiyaalae
ullapadi paadaanam onpathumthaan
urukkich saaiththaen silaiyaaiththaanae.

(Bogar)

As, most of the happenings are going to be impious in this Kali yugam, and it is no use for human body to live long in the Earth. Bogar prepared statue made up of nine baashaanam with the blessing from goddess Manoanmani, for the survival of people.  Here, the specified nine paashaanam referring to what? I left it to reader’s view.

Let us see the another poem of Pulipaani Siththar:

பாரப்பா மலையதுவின் உச்சியிலே
paarappaa malaiyathuvin uchchiyilae
paangaana Bogaruda samaathiyarukae
kattaana paadaanavakai ettudanonru
kaanavae saerththuvaartha silaithaaanum
nannavae pirathittaithaan seithu
naviluvaen poosaisoae dasamunjeyya
aatrinaen poosaivithikal thaanum
aarappaa arivaarka laarumillai.

- புலிப்பாணிச் சித்தர் ( Pulippaani Siththar)

Pulipaani says that the statue made up combination of eight paashanam and one other form is positioned nearby the Bogar samadhi on the tip of hill. And he continues that no one is capable of performing pooja for that statue and henceforth Pulipaani sithar sharing information regarding the pooja procedure and rules to perform it. Here, the specified nine paashaanam refers to what? I left it to reader’s view.

Let us see the another poem given by Bogar;

"பாங்கான பாடாணம் ஒன்பதினும்
paangaana paadaanam onpathinum
parivaana viparamthaan sollak kaelu
gowri kenthicheelaimaal devi
kodu veeramkachhaal vellai
pakarkinra thottinodu soothamsangu
pooranamaai niraintha sivasakthi
nalamaana manoanmani kadaatchaththaalae
nanninee onpathaiyum kattukattu”

(Bogar)

Bogar listed the nine paashaanam as gowri paashaanam, kenthakap paashaanam, seelaip paashaanam, veerap paashaanam, kachaalap paashaanam, vellaip paashaanm, thottip paashaanam, soothap paashaanam, sangup paashaanam and one should bundle up the combination of above nine with the blessings and permission from the Siva Sakthi and goddess Manoanmani. How to call the above nine combiantion? I left it to your choice.

Still I can show some poems as example. However, this post is just the outcome of the commented statement “ignorant people” and nothing beyond that. Kindly do not misunderstand the post.

Further, I would like to thank Thiru. Vaanavan yogi for making this chance to verify about paashanams and I dedicate this post to him.

Pancha Paashana Lingam

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

In the previous post, we have seen the purification process of paashaanam. As this is the tedious stage and one can easily proceed with the further steps if succeeded in this purification process. However, the major loss in weight of each paashaanam during purification cannot be controlled. As the total weight before purification is 500 grams where, the total weight comes around 300 grams after purification which is further used for bundling process.

Now the next step is obtaining kuzhambu* from the purified baashaanam. Modern chemistry gives two ways for liquefying the solid substance. One is melting and another one is dissolving the solid in liquid medium to obtain solution.

While Bogar quoted the following method to obtain the solution from paashaanam;

"கண்டுபார் பாடாணக் குழம்பதனை
kandupaar paadaanak kuzhampathanai
kanamaana sathurakkal lippaalirpoattu
vindupaar saamanthaan moodivaikka
vidupatta suththasalam poalaeyaakum
kondupaar sirappaana paadaananthaan
kodithaana ayachchattik kullaevaiththu
mandupaar naarsaamam surukkuppoada
makaththaana paadaanam kuzhambaamae."

(Bogar)

Placing the paashaanam in the square cactus milk and place it for a saamam* by closing it resulting in the liquefied paashaanam. Then, it is placed in iron container and by condensing it for 4 saamam. Finally, we will get the desired solution of paashaanam.

I adopted above method to get the solution of 5 paashaanam individually. Then, after measuring the accurate weight, I took the equal amount in every 5 to get the desired solution kuzhambu.

Now the final process is pouring the solution in structured mould. I bought this mould from chetti street in Colombo - 11. It happened to be lot and lots of divine moulds there, for which I confused and finally bought mould of lord Shiva in linga form.

As I poured the mixture solution in mould and place it in sunlight (Surya pudam), it get hardened. Finally, the “Pancha Paashaana Lingam” is ready and can be seen in the below picture, which took 2 months to prepare. Eventhough the size is small; it contains unbounded glory with in it.

It can be placed in home for worshipping. However, if prepared in big size, it can be used in temple. Even though most of our temples principal statues are of this paashaana type, but the forgotten or hidden information fades the glory of the temples.

The belief of obtaining cure on worshipping specific lord in specific place is all due to this type of statues. The information like abisheka water, milk from the principal statue can cure the disease gets modified over time and becomes the culture and tradition nowadays which are also fading gradually.

In that series, we can worship the above “Pancha Paashaana Lingam” and can perform abishekam daily. Uroma rishi told that, the continuous intake of abisheka water stables the paralysis, bile and phlegm as it has plenteous medicinal property, there will not be occurrence of any disease and can live long.

Irrespective of gender, it can be worshipped by both male and female. Bogar told that,  placing the statue in pure and neat place and by chanting the mantra “Om Namasivaaya” , results in mind peace and focus.

*Saamam – 3 hours especially at midnight
*Kuzhambu – the liquid of thick consistency (such as sandal paste)
