Irrespective of gender, both men and women were doing everything possible to have glowing skin. And with this attitude, different cosmetics are blooming in market and their manufacturers living a prosperous life. மெள்ளவே ஐந்திருநாள் யிருபோதுந் தான்

விளங்கவே அடுத்தடுத்துப் பூசும்போது
vilangavae aduththaduththu poosumpoathu
துள்ளவே திருமுகத்தில் படரும் வங்கும்
thullavae thirumukaththil padarum vaangum
தொந்தித்து நில்லரிது துலைந்து போமே.

This song is taken out from the book ‘Theraiyar Maruthuva Kaaviyam’. According to this song, this medicine will cure the tinea versicolor, marks and dots in skin.

Arithaaram* is a marble like stone or powder available in the general shop itself. Take half palam* of solid arithaaram and grind nicely it with extract of ivy gourd. Then, apply this mixture daily two times on morning and evening continuously for 10 days on the affected part of the skin to get the clear and beautiful skin.
People with tinea vericolor can try it and suggest this remedy to anyone in need.
