Brass turning to Gold….

Author: தோழி / Labels: , ,

So far, we have seen the basics and fundamentals of nature of panchabootham in previous posts. In this series, let us see one advanced form of scientifically transformation of one lower category metal to higher category metal. However, I already shared few of the similar transformation in some posts of this blog which can be refreshed via this link, golden magic.

Agathiyar in his book “Agathiyar Paripooranam”, gives out the alchemical transformation procedure of brass to gold. Let us see the concerned poem below:

பதிவாக இன்னமொரு கருமானக்கேள்
pathivaaka innamoru karumaanakkael
pathivaana piruththiviyai pazhachchaatraalae
kethiyaai thaanaraiththu mainthaakaelu
kenithamudan thurusuvedi saarangkootti
mathiyaana sarukudanae pooranjaerththu
mainthanae pazhachchaatraa laraiththurutti
vithiyaana piththalaiyai thakaduseithu
virumpiyantha marunthathilae saerththumoodae.

saerththunanraai moodiyapin mainthaakaelu
sivasivaa nithaanamudan pudaththaipoadu
paarthipanae pudamaari yeduththuppaarththaal
paththiyulla piththalaithaan sempaaiyppoachu
poatriyanthach sempathanaip pathanampanni
punniyanae vellithanil naalukkonru
vaaththimikka thaangkodu urukkippaarkka
mayangkaatha makaththaana ponthaanpaarae.

First take one element which is among the principal element of soil/land and combine this with the fruit juice. Now, add equal amount of copper sulphate, vedisaaram and calomel to the above mixture and grind it well using the required amount of same fruit juice and make small rounded balls.

Now, take the brass sheet and enclose the sheet with the above said round balls. Now it should undergo pudam process (process of burning this enclosed plate in cow dung) and let it cool. Now we can see that, the brass sheet gets transformed into copper sheet. Melt the copper sheet and add the silver to copper in ratio of 1:4 which ultimately results in transformation of copper to gold.

Simplest way!! Isn’t?? However, here some crucial information is hidden like, no explicit information of soil element and type of pudam etc; one can get this missed information from 637th poem of 9th kaandam in another book “Agathiyar 12000”.

This transformation procedure and place of hidden related information revealed here is merely a part of information sharing.  However, much likely information is hidden all over the books. Those who are interested can perform research in this regard.

Highly astonishing!! Isn’t it?

Colour of Panchabootham and its effects

Author: தோழி / Labels: , ,

From the previous post we inferred from Siththars thoughts that, earth and all its elemental beings are composition of five basic elements viz, fire, water, air, space and land and altering the composition of one element results in the formation of newer which can be done on one’s own desire. We also have seen that, Agathiyar notes on principal compounds of five basic elements in previous post.

In this series, let us see some more information in this regard.

Agathiyar enlighten us not only with principal compounds but also with the colour of those principal compounds of five basic elements.

aamenra panchpoothak kurippai sonnoam
araiyuroa mathinudaiya niranthaankaelu
poamenra pirithiviyinrana niranthaankaelu
ponnirampoal thaanirukkum thangavarnam
paamenra vappidinida niranthaankaelu
palinguniram poalirukkum panchavarnam
maanaenra vakkiniyin niranthaanappaa
makaththaana senpunira varnangaanae
kaanappaa vaayuvathin niranthaankaelu
kaalakandamaaka rasappukai maekanthaanae.

Agathiyar says that the principal compounds depicting soil/land is in golden colour; water is in panchavarna* colour; fire is in copper colour; air is in colour of mist of mercury vapour and finally for space, colour of principal compound cannot be defined.

Let us see the effect of combining one principal element to another principal element as told by agathiyar.

paarappa piruthivithaa nappaikkollum
paangaana appathuthaan thaeivaikkollum
naerappaa thaeivunthaan vaaivaikkkollum
nilaiyaana vaaivathuthaa naakasaththtil
veerappaa kondathilae madinthupoachu

saarappaa thannarivaar saarnthukondu
sakalakaru vaethaimukanj saarnthupaarae.

On combining the principal element of soil to principal element of water, soil element becomes ineffective. Similarly, on combining element of fire to element of air, the air element becomes ineffective. On combining element of air to special element, special element rendered inactive.

Agathiyar also says that, all these information are just a basic and on acquiring in depth knowledge in this series, one can get into the next level of medicinal preparation and alchemy. This post is aimed to bring out our ancestors immense and in-depth knowledge on science to today’s generation.

All these information in this series are collected from the book “Agathiyar Paripooranam”. Any interested readers can do further research in this regard.

We are about to see the practicality information on converting brass into gold in upcoming post.

Panchabootham and Siddha medicine – An Introduction

Author: தோழி / Labels: , ,

We usually term the following five elements viz., earth, air, fire, water and sky as pancha bootham. Both earth and all the beings (living and non-living) enclosed in earth are composition of the above said five basic elements. However, the proportion of these 5 elements varies from one being to another and is unique. That is why Siththars says “andaththil ullathae pindam, pindaththil ullathae andam” which literally means “whatever is in universe lies in beings and vice versa”.

The changes, i.e. alteration in equilibrium or deficiency of one or more element, in composition of these 5 elements in humans induces aging, disease etc,. Siththar’s medicine basicly focuses on handling these 5 elements to keep it in equilibrium.

As Siththars are highly aware of elements composition in all beings and hence not only capable of altering those proportions in humans but also they are capable of changing any thing on their need and will. What we call in nowadays science as atomic and molecular studies! It is none other than the basis of our Siththar’s medical practice and alchemy.

Agathiyar in his book “Agathiyar paripooranam” listed out the principal compound of five basic elements viz., earth, air, fire, water and sky as follows in his poem:

ஆடவே அட்டசித்துந் தானேயாட
aadavae attasithththun thaanaeyaada
     adangininra poothvakaich sarakkukaelae
poadavae kaaravakai pathimoonrunthaan
     paangkaana piruthiviyena rarinthukollu
koodavae saaravakai pannirendunthaan
     kuriyaaka appuvenak koornthupaaru
vaadavae vaippuvakai muppaththirendu
     varisaiyudan thaeyuvena makizhnthukaanae.

kaanavae vilaivuvakai muppaththirendung
     karuvaana vaayuvenak kaninthupaaru
poonavae uparasamnooth thirandupaththum
     puththiyuda naakaasa menrupaaru
thonavae vakaiyarinthu panchapootham
  suththamulla sarakkuvakai yarinthukondu
paenavae saththurumith thuruvaikkandu
      piriyamudan sarakkukalaik kattippaarae.

There are 13 types of compounds (kaara vakai) which principally focuses soil/earth elements.

There are about 12 compounds (saara vakai) principally focusing water elements.

There are 32 compounds (vaippu vakai) principally focusing fire elements.

Air element has its principal dominance on 32 compounds (vilaivu vakai).

And finally, space element has its dominance over 100 compounds (uparasa vakai).

These are the basic composition of panchabootham and one should be well versed in all the above before starting their practice in field of medicine and alchemy. Then, next step is learning or knowing the combination of one or more of the above said elemental compounds and its effects.

What are those effects?

We shall see the continuation in upcoming post.

Ashram and its types - 03

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

Among the five types of ashrams noted by Agathiyar, let us see the last two types in this post. Moreover, these final two are higher level in hierarchy.

Vanaprastha ashram.

The pupils of this ashram are devoid of earthly feelings (happiness and sorrow). They will not even mind rain and burning sun with their food habits, which mainly depends on fruits and edible roots. Agathiyar says that, these pupils perform their yogic procedure in panchaakni.

These pupils worship their guru and chants mantra “om am siva vasi” 100 times per day. On these periodic chanting, they accomplish this level and become highly eligible for next final level.

Athivarna ashram.

      amarnthirunthaa laathivarnaach chiramampaarae.

Agathiyar says that, those who completed all four levels alone can live in this ashram. The stage depicts the pupil’s life which are devoid of universal illusion; and pass over contemplation states; and will be free of  thoughts, anxiety, Worldly feelings, sound of siva-sivaa; and even free of philosophy from one to ettirandu; and will be without conscious, affection, love and all sorts feelings; but will be only with the thought of oneness in universe. This is the life in athivarna ashram.

This is the traditional ashram types in olden days. People used to live in various types of ashram depend on their own interest, physical and mental strength, their future life and its requirement. However, it is up to the readers to decide and find out!! Whether ashrams in today’s world were following the above said procedure.

All the information concerning ashrams is taken from book titled “Agathiyar Paripooranam”.

See you in upcoming post with interesting information.

Stay tuned!

Ashram and its types - 02

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

We have already seen that there are 5 types of ashrams viz, bhramacharya ashram, grihastha ashram, sannyasa ashram, vanaprastha ashram and athivarna ashram in the previous posts. Also we learnt that each type of ashram refers hierarchical levels.

Let us see the Agathiyar’s description on first three levels in thiss post.

Brahmacharya ashram.

arivaana Pulaththiyanae sollakkaelu

kuriyaakach chikaivalarththu ennaithallik
       koormaiyulla biramaach chiramanthaanae.

thaanaakath thaanavanaai manathukoornthu
     sangkaiyudan yimmuraithaan thavaraamalthaan
kaonaana gurupathiyil manathukoornthu
     kurippudanae sepikkirathoar manthirangkaelu
thaenaana amurthamdaa amkilisimmenru
       sivasivaa thinamnooru sepithaalmainthaa
oonaana thaekamadaa pirammamaachu
      uththamanae piramasooch siramnjchiththae.

The pupils of brahmcharya ashram will grow long hair without using oil. They will have only one meal per day obtain through begging and perform all recommended customary rituals without fail.

Agathiyar says, they used to chant the mantra “am kili sim” 100 times per day. Hence, their body becomes Brahma soroopam*. If their body becomes brahma soroopam, which means they accomplished this level and are qualified for next hierarchical level.

Grihastha ashram.

paenavae thaanirunthu sebiththaayaakil
   pilakkumadaa kirakastha naachiramampaarae.

Though the life of grihastha ashram includes luxurious comfortably blessed family life along with wife and children, however, they were free from bad activities like murder, theft and lust. The pupils of this ashram treat all beings life as their own hence, will not harm any beings and live according to guru’s advices.

They chant the mantra, “ong reeng angung” 100 times per day. On continuing this practice, they accomplished the level of this ashram and are eligible to move into next hierarchical level.

Sannyasa ashram.

thaanaana sanyaasi yaachchirammainthaa
  thanmaiyudan thaanaakath thirakkungkaanae.

The pupils of this ashram are clean in nature, who cleared all hair from their head and looks like sanyaasi. They perform homam and tharpanam* and have their food through begging.

They used to chant the mantra “om aiyum kiliyunj savvum” 100 times per day. Agathiyar says, on continuous chanting of mantra, they able to accomplish this level and are eligible to continue next level.

Let us see next two types of ashram in the upcoming post.

Stay tuned!!

Ashram and its types - 01

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

Apart from the Siththar's tradition, the guru-sishya tradition has its long term journey even in Indian vedic culture. Till last century this guru-sishya practice did not lose its glory however, it becomes a completely extinct art of practice nowadays. Alas! Future generation will not even get a hint about this guru-sishya way of learning arts.

We always imagined ashram as small kudil (home built using various types of leafs like palm, coconut etc,) enclosed by beautiful garden, which lies in the outskirt of village or people community. There stays a guru and the pupils of that guru who came to learn from guru. Almost, all our imaginations depict the ashram as said above.

Is that a ashram? How it functioned? Are there any types and forms among ashrams? For these above series of question, we found answers from Agathiyar’s book titled “Agathiyar Paripooranam”. My ultimate aim is to share that information in this series.

Agathiyar says, there are 5 types of ashrams which are as follows:

Brahmacharya ashram

Grihastha ashram

Sannyasa ashram

Vanaprastha ashram

Athivarna ashram

These 5 types refer to five hierarchical level of ashrams. On completing one level, one can go to upper level and so on. It is more like nowadays, primary, high school, higher secondary, undergraduate and post graduate education level.

Since, Agathiyar describes the pupil in those levels of ashrams as follows:

பார்பிரமச் சாரியடா பிர்மாவாகும்
paarpriamach chaariyadaa pirmaavaakum
    pathivaana kirakasthan vishnuvaakum
naerkuruvaanj sanyaasam ruththiranaakum
    nilaiyaanap pirashthanadaa mayaesanaakum
seerperukum aathirvarnaach siramamainthaa
    sivasivaa sathasivnith thelinthukollu
aararivaa ranjunilai virathampetru
    amarnthiruppaan koadiyil oruvanraanae.

Those whose lives in brahmacharya ashram are correlated to Lord Brahma, pupils of grihastha are correlated to Lord Vishnu, pupils in sannyasa ashram are correlated to Lord Rudra, pupils of vanaprastha ashram are correlated to Lord Maheshwara and pupils of athivarna ashram are correlated to Lord Sadasiva.  However, who completed all the above said level is in the ratio of one among the crore.

Amazing right! How will be the pupil of those ashrams? What are all their functions? What might be their aim?

Let us see in the upcoming post.

Stay tuned!!

How to disappear mystically?

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

We often tell about a person as ‘he disappeared mystically!!’ if we can not find him over time. Otherwise we heard the myth of ‘suddenly disappeared in one place and appeared somewhere in another place’ in fraction of second in many instances of our historical, magical stories.

Is it possible in real life?

Agathiyar says it as, absolutely possible event!! Many related notes are noted in book titled “agathiyar paripooranam”. He describes the preparation process of one anjanai mai, which is used in process of self disappearance of one’s structure.

How to prepare this mai?

Agathiyar asked to, burn out the pichchu*of lemur, karukkuruvi (bird) and kaamaroopi. Then take the above burned part in egg shell and fry it till it melts and become mai*. Now place this mai in kalvam* along with paerandath thailam and grind it well.

After grinding that mixture, collect it in a vessel made up of elephant tusk. While collecting, chant the mantra “om kili rahng rahng” continuously.

Now, mai has to be applied as thilakam* in forehead on the time when one want to disappear his own structure. Agathiyar says, now no one in the world can see him. Now, one must go to his favourite place and can perform yoga and meditation to find oneself. However, on wiping out the thilakam, his structure is now visible to others.

This post is just intended for sharing the Siththar’s information and possibility of the above said information needs further extendable research.

*Pichchu – It is one of the organs in the animal. It can be seen in any animal which have liver. It can be seen next to liver in blackish green colour. It will be in size of 1 or 2 inch. It is also called as “piththu”. It has to be used carefully without shaken.

*Mai – Black pigment

*Kalvam – It is kaind of roller, which was made out of stone, used by Siththars for grinding

*Thilakam – a small circular mark on the forehead

Significance of Thiruneeru by Agathiyar!!

Author: தோழி / Labels:

*Thiruneeru – the sacred ashes (used for Saivites mark)

Thiruneeru is principal symbol of saivite people, for whom Lord Shiva is principal god. Thiruneeru is otherwise named as iratchai, saaram, vipoothi, pasumam, pasitham. The cow dung of cow whose in taken food should mostly be cynodon dactylon and make it into small sized rounded pellets. Now, enclose these pellets with rice bran and put an pudam. Now, all these pellets gets burned out and become white ashes (named as neeru). Agathiyar says this as process of making pure thiruneeru.

Thiruneeru can be weared as two forms. The one form in which thiruneeru can be wore without gap is called “ulthoolanam”. The next form where thiruneeru is taken in index finger, middle finger and ring finger and wore as three parallel lines is called as “thiripundarikam”. The philosophical reason behind these forms of wearing thiruneeru is broad and extensive.

In previous days, thiruneeru is prepared by people according to their need however, the preparation method need certain restriction which are  given out by ancestors. Pure white thiruneeru is generally termed as best quality thiruneeru. However, adopting the above procedures by the manufacturer is highly impossible or might be low in recent days making of vipoothi.

In Siththalogy, we got many notes of  extensive usage of vipoothi in many procedures viz, chanting, yantra, medicine etc,. Also, Agathiyar in his book, “Agathiyar Paripooranam” suggest the way of  getting this vipoothi from other person in his poem as follows;

aamappaa sootchamveku sootchamaana
     arumaiyulla manthiraththai thiyaanampanni

     sankaiyuda navarkalseyyun thavamellaanthaan
vaamappaal pooranaththin makimaiyaalae
     vanthuvidum manatharivaal manathaippaarae.

manathaaka nalloarka lidathilintha
     manthiraththaith thaaninaiththup pooriththaakkaal
manathaaka avarkalseyyun thavappalanthaan
     manthirangkal thannudanae vanthusaerum
manathaaka moodarveku vanjarkitta
     manimanthira poothiyuda nethuvaanaalum
manathaaka avarkalidam vaangkumpoathu
     makkalae avarkalkunam varukumpaarae.

On receiving vipoothi from one person, all the value of meditation and the character of giving person will get transferred to receiving person. Hence, one should keep this in mind and must receive vipoothi from one’s hand who is good in character otherwise, getting vipoothi from bad person will leads to wrong happenings.

On getting vippothi from good person, there is a trick to get full value which was given by Agathiyar.

What is that trick?

saatriyathoa rupathaesam nanraaikkaelu
sangkaiyudan roomreem simraavenru

paarthipanae manthiraththai ninaiththuvaangka
pathilaaka avarpilamum varukumpaarae.

Agathiyar says, on receiving vipoothi from the hand of Siththars and Siva Yogiss, gnanis, chant the following mantra  “room Reem simraa” in mind silently, through which one will all the good values of meditation and good characters of giver.

Siththars's Cave! Artificial Cave!!

Author: தோழி / Labels: , ,

On searching about the shelter of Siththars, we come around three different types of information. First is their jeeva samadhi, second one is about the cave they lived and the third one is description about their ashram.

In our previous post on sathuragiri series, when I collected information concerning the shelter of various Siththars, it should be noted that, many were related to the information regarding caves. Moreover it is interesting to consider the fact that all these places lies serially and well interrelated to one another.

This kindle the doubt that, whether these cave were naturally occurred one after another or made out artificially. Recently, in search of some other information among books, I found out some surprising note in Agathiayar’s book titled “Agathiyar Paripooranam”. It is surprising fact that, Siththars are well aware of performing the art of making the artificial caves.

Agathiyar’s concerned poem is as follows:

These poems are narrated by Agathiyar to his disciple Pulathiyar, as it is once told by Ekkiyamahaa munivar  to Agathiyar, which is a secret truth to do Siva Yoga for knowing vaasi. First the person should go to his favourite hill and roam around to find suitable place where, he can make his own cave.

Take the equal amount of following 13 ingredients viz; pioneer (red coloured water), crystalline salt, kariyuppu, vediyuppu, ammonium chloride, annapaethi, malaipaethi, maangisapaethi, kalnaatham, kalmaththam, arappodi, karkaantham and singittam in kalvam and then grind it well. Then put down the mixture in big iron vessel (called as thaali in Tamil) and pour yaanaiparikantham, blood of pulikaradi and also the boiled water of horsegram. Then place this vessel in sunlight and mix the mixture using twig of  jaumoon-lum tree.

After the reminiscent settled down, collect the clear liquid and pour it in the rock where you want to have your cave. After pouring the mixture, the place where the liquid spreads bosoms out and forms into salt. The so formed salt melts down like melting of crystalline salt in water. Now, mark the required area for cave and cut down it.

After cutting down, one can pour the liquid further on rock to get the desired depth. Now rock can be further cut down to deep. Now after achieving the desired structure, Agathiyar also told the way to stop the functioning of that cave further.

Now clean the cave with the equal amount of mixture of honey with water, milk and sirukaranthai extract, which will ultimately, stops the salt formation of cave. After making this cave, be strongly focused and start meditation alone in this cave. Now, mind will become focused to oneness and can view the radiance similar to sunlight on centre of brow. Agathiyar says, for seeing this radiance only, Siththars went forests and also he advises, in order to see that radiance, one should do meditation independently out of human community.

Interesting information! Isn’t it? Our ancestors used the techniques to melt down the rocks rather than cut it down. It will be definitely a marvelous achievement if further technological growth and usages happened in this regard. Our ancestor’s technological solution is not at all inferior compared to nowadays science!  Hence, it will be a sorrowful mistake, that we did not upgrade this technological achievement through modern research.

Interested readers can do further research in this regard.

Changing the appearance

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

Over decades, it is believed by people that, Siththars can change take any form of appearance at any second of time on their desire. However, we have no evidence to support or deny this belief. Basically, Siththars like to be autonomous which we can infer from their poems. They would like to live away from people community, in order to avoid the incoming hindrances which might affect their life path. They even like to be away from the people community who are not in their wavelength.

Even though they live independently in forests and mountains, it is highly unavoidable without hindrance and dangers from locality and surroundings. In order to face those dangerous situations, Siththars had performed numerous mystics.  Even nowadays too, they were doing certain kind of these mystics to protect themselves from tribal people, hunters, animals, birds and snake like crawling beings.

In that series, today we are going to see about one of the SIththar’s mystic trick from the following poem.

What is that trick?

Changing the appearance for the sake of not  attracting anyone’s attention is that magic.

How to perform that?

Agathiyar in his book “Agathiyar 12000” explained this as follows:

வந்தவகை சொல்லுமுன்னே அறிந்துகொண்டு
vanthavakai sollumunnae arinthukondu
     manamagiznthu sollukiraen vakaiyaaikkaelu

anthamulla moolamadaa sireengammenru
     asaivatru mavunamathaa yarutkanmaevi
panthamudan kampamathaai nindraayaanaal
     palanaana thavappalaththaip pakunthukaelae.

kaelappaa thavapalaththaich sollakkaelu
     kirupaiyudan sivayogath thirukkumpoathu
soolappaa manitharkandaal manitharpoalaam
    sukamaana penkalkandaal penkalpoalaam
maelappaa yokikandaal yokipoalaam
     visaiyaana mirukangal kanduthaanaal
kaalappaa anthantha vakaipoarthoanum
     karunaiyudan thavasiruntha karuththaippaarae.

Before starting austerity or sivayogam, sit on a place and relax the mind and body. Now, focus the mind to oneness and start chanting the mantra “Sireeng am” by fixing the vision on centre of brow for 108 times. One should start austerity or sivayokam only after performing the above said mantra.

Those who done this will look like as follows; looks like ordinary man to common people, appears like a women to women, appears as yogi to yogis , for animals or birds they look like itself. Hence, there will not be any disturbance from the above said beings hence, one can achieve their goal without any external disturbances.

This is one among the infinite Siththar information available from their songs. Any interested readers or researchers can try this for proving the authenticity of information.

Food and Body

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

Food, which is as essential as air is needed for the life of all living organisms including human beings. Siththars also noted the importance of the food in their songs. We can also quote some of our ancestral quotes like ‘food is medicine, medicine as food’ as an example.

Agathiyar in his book ‘Vallaathi’ noted the process of food deposition in human body in his poem as follows:

சொன்னோமே யின்னமொரு சூட்சங் கேளு
sonnoamao yinnamoru sootchang kaelu

            saarnthidumae uthiraththil lonru maaka
mannanaethaan sayakaasa yaeka roaki
            valuvaana athisaaram vantha paerkkae.

vanthaperung kiraani kunmm elumbu rukki
             vaangaatha karaththoarkalin saaththiya roaki
panthmurath thinrathonru maari lappaa
             paalakanae noayarunthum paaru paaru
unthanuda vinthazinthaal yellaam pochu
              undathellaam pazhaachu uravum poachu
vinthuthanai izhanthupala pinikkul laaki
              melinthukettup poakaamal villu vaene.

Among the composition of food intakes, it gets divided as six  forms. One part becomes the waste  and gets excreted. Second part gets urinated out. Third part gets absorbed by muscles. Fourth part gets deposited at vinthu/naatham. Fifth part gets annihilated to brain and finally sixth part gets deposited into blood.

If the food is taken in the above right composition, then body becomes good and healthy. However, Agathiyar says, health become degraded if there is any change in the above said process. Irritable bowel syndrome, chronic dyspepsia, tuberculosis like diseases will come due to above said problem. Due to this, vinthu will also get destroyed. Hence it also induces other health problems which might ultimately make our food to go waste.

Alright! What we can do, if the food proportion get undivided properly?

Agathiyar gave us a solution for that problem too. One should effectively make poorana vallathi sooranam and should take it which will clear all the above said problems and body will become healthy. One can get this medicine from good Siddha doctor.

Body and Soul

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

Human body lost its significance when soul got out from the body.  We usually destroy that body by burning or burying underground. So human body has its significance and importance until human soul resides within.

Do you know, when the soul joins the human body?

Which one originates first soul or body?

Agathiyar gave answer for all the above questions in his book "Agathiyar Sayul Vedam".

The prana vaayu (oxygen) gets accumulated with sperm which gets life and cells get grow. On relationship with women, this sperm gets combined with women's ovum, there by forming a bubble which composed of three vikarpam viz, vaatham*, bile and phlegm. Then the bubble start growing inside uterus. And after 25 days it looks like a small new embryo which has no soul resides with.

The small new embryo at first month gets growing which become like a small tumour. On second month, back side, hair and shoulder get formed. On third month human body, rib and hip will get formed and on this point soul gets  reside into body.

Hence, on the completion of third month only the soul gets joins body and all other internal organs start growing with body growth.

All these information belongs to the era of no advanced scientific development. However the information are so specific and accurate where lies its significance. In none if the way, our Siththar's information are inferior to these days Scientifical research information which makes us more pride to remind the older ones thoughts.

He also noted that there are 8 forms of Ganapathy  viz, Aadhi Ganapathy, Mahaa Ganapathy, Nadana Ganapathy, Sakthi Ganapathy, Bala Ganapathy, Uchista Ganapathy, Ukkira Ganapathy, Moola Ganapathy.

There is a single moola mantra for all 8 forms of Ganapathy. The moola mantra is "OM KILI ANG UNG". He describes the method of chanting and using this mantra as follows.

Take considerable amount of vipoothi* in left hand and write the symbol of Ganapathi " ooh (உ)" upon that vipoothi. After that, focus your vision on that vipoothi and chant the above said mantra for 208 times.

Agathiyar says that, on wearing this chanted vipoothi, one get relieved from high fever, ulcer, tuberculosis and also freed from black magic. It also heal uterus related problems, eczema and thiratchi linked to stomach.

Interesting information! Right??

Vinayakar Chathurthi

Author: தோழி / Labels: , , , ,

In olden days, Hindu religion was divided into six subdivisions which has its own uniqueness. Each unique part has its own principal deity. The group of people who worshipping each god has its own name viz, group of people who worshipping Lord Vinayaka are termed as Ganapatya; Lord Shiva are termed as Shaivism; Lord Vishna are termed as Vaishanavism; Goddess Sakthi are termed as Sakthism (Saaktha); Lord Muruga are termed as Kumara and Lord Surya (Sun) are termed as Saura. Each group functioned like individual religion.

It seems Adi Shankara was the one who grouped all the above said divisions into single religion, as  Hinduism. Among the above mentioned groups, today is the birthday of Lord Vinayaka, principal God of Ganapatya, which is the first among the mentioned groups.

We usually worship the sathurthi thithi in the Tamil month Aavani* as the birthday of Lord Vinayaka. Some says Lord Vinayaka (Elephant faced) symbolize the mystical form of “OM”.

We can also see that, every Siththar started their books with  Vinayakar Kaapu*. In this auspicious day, I would like to put forth similar information.

Agathiyar on his book, “Agathiyar Theetchavithi”, starts with Vinayakar salutation as follows:

பாதிமதி யணிந்த பரமன் எனக்கிசைந்த
paathimathi yanintha paraman enakkisaintha
paruthimathi suzhimoonrum nanraaich solvaen
vaethanaivaa raamal muthartheetchai maarkkam
vilambuvaen mahaa Ganapathi kaappaamae”

(Agathiyar)

Bogar in his book “Bogar Gnana Soothiram” started with Vinayakar Kaapu as:

"பெருமையுள்ள சதநூலைப் படுவதற்கு
perumaiyulla sathamoolaip paduvatharku
karuvoolan thirumaeni thumbikkaiyan
Ganpathi senthaamaraiththaal kaappathaamae”

(Bogar)

Romarishi starts with Vinayakar salutation in his book “Romarishi Vaithiyam 500” as follows:

"மூலமு தலாதார முடிவினின்ற
moolamu thalaathaara mudivininra
mooethiyenum Ganesarathu paathangaappu”

(Roma Rishi)

Nandheesar in his book “Nandheesar Nikandu 300” also started with Vinayakar Kaapu as,

"வெள்ளியங் கிரியான் தந்த
velliyang kiriyaan thantha
vaezhama mukanae yenthan
ullinuk kullaai naanum
urivinuk kuruvaai ninru”

(Nandheesar)

Pathirakiriyar also started the importance of Vinayakar kaapu as follows:

"ஐஞ்சு கரத்தானின் அடியிணையைப் போற்றிசெய்து
ainju karaththaanin adiyinaiyaip poatriseithu
nenjir porunthi nilaiperuva thekkaalam?”

(Pathrakiriyar)

Above all of these, Siththar Sivavaakkiyar, who putforth his philosophical thoughts rationally and who highly opposes the structural worship of Gods also started with Vinayakar salutation in his book Sivavaakkiyam, which is a considerable note to be pointed out.

"கரியதோர் முகத்தையுற்ற கற்பகத்தைக் கைதொழக்
kariyathoar mukaththaiyutra karpagaththaik kaithozhak
kalaikal noorkan gnanamum karuththil vanhthuthikkavae”

(Sivavaakkiyar)

Similar quotes and information can be found in all Siththar notes which focused on Vinayakar salutation. On remembering, Lord Vinayakar on this auspicious day may bless us with his graciousness.
