Kundalini - Manipura

Author: தோழி / Labels:

Let us see the third basic energy centre manipura chakra.

When, a child born from mother, a knot is made in its body. This is called navel cord. For the creation of body and its liveliness, essential breathe (pranan) is deposited through this navel. According to Siththars, these pranan is around navel spot.

This energy centre is termed as manipura and it is situated in the suzhimunai naadi. This is linked to organs like stomach, small intestine, gall bladder, liver of human body. The principal part among the panjapootham* is fire. If the glowing fire in this manipura chakra fades, it results in the illness of human body and ultimately body become weak and become lifeless.

From this chakra, 10 yoga naadis emerge out as lotus flower. The emerging resonance due to motion is noted as TA-TA, NA-THA, THA-THA, THA-NA, PA-PA respectively. The principal god of manipura chakra is Lord Vishnu and the principal goddess is Lakkumi/Laakini. The associated moolamantra is “RUM”.

Below image shows the likely structure of manipura chakra as per words of Agathiyar in his poem.

There lies the triangle like structure in centre of manipura chakra which symbolizes fire element. This chakra symbolizes the letter “IM” among the “SIVAYANAMA”.

On positioning the mind in manipura and chanting the moolamantra, Kundalini start rising from svadhishthana and reaches manipura. This can be accomplished only with dedicated vigorous practice.

Without proper guidance from the appropriate guru, one cannot move ahead of this stage. Because, the unstructured practice may results in side effect in body, which I realized in my own experience. So I suggest the readers to start practicing with proper guidance. However you may take it as my warning.

If kundalini reaches manipura from svadhishthana due to proper practice, then our soul energy will get stimulated and body remains stable and health will upgraded. The person with stimulated manipura chakra will never fear on hard work.

Kundalini - Svadhishthana

Author: தோழி / Labels:

Today we are going to see about second sakthi chakra svadhishthana. It is also termed as “Niraakulam” which means no sadness and rest in spirituality.

Svadhishthana is the second chakra above muladhara. It lies above our genital organ that is, it lies at 4 virarkadai distance above from muladhara. This chakra symbolize the letter “NA” of panchatchara letters “si-va-ya-na-ma” and explains its philosophy.

Six important naadis emerges from this chakra which can be correlated as six petals of lotus flower. Each motion gives out the resonance which is noted by these letters; “sa, ha, im, ya, ra, la”. Among its centre lies the pirai chandran (crested moon).

From Agathiyar poem, the likely image of svadhishthana chakra is shown below.

The principal god of svadhishthana is Lord Brahma and principal goddess is Raakini/Saakini. This symbolizes water among five basic elements. This chakra is related to reproductive organs, uterus and intestine among human organs.

The moolamantra for svadhishthana is “VAM”. On positioning svadhishthana in mind and by continuous chanting of moolamantra, Kundalini will reach this chakra. This can be accomplished only with dedicated practice.

Siththars associates all these chakras as masculine character. Kundalini energy is associated to feminine character, which can also be correlated as guise of vaalai. The flow of Kundalini energy in chakra will activate and attain its completeness which is termed as attaining siddhi.

With the blossom of this chakra, the power of self discipline and self- control will get stimulated and the awareness level will glow out. It is necessary to stimulate this chakra to improvise our thoughts and actions.

Kundalini - Muladhara

Author: தோழி / Labels: , ,

As we have already seen that, muladhara lies between genital organ and excretory organ. Siththars very clearly noted the exact location of muladhara.

Thirumoolar in his ‘Thirumanthiram’ says as follows:

நாபிக்குக் கீழே பன்னிரண்டு அங்குலம்
naabikkuk keezhae pannirendu angulam
தாபிக்கும் மந்திரம் தன்னை அறிகிலர்
thaapikkum manthiram thannai arikilar

கூவிக் கொண்டு ஈசன் குடியிருந்தானே

- திருமூலர் (Thirumoolar)

Bogar in his book ‘Bogar 7000’ noted as follows:

அகாரத்தின் மேலாகக் கணேசர் நிற்பார்
akaaraththin maelaakak  Ganaesar nirpaar
அதிலே யோர்கோணத் திலுகாரம் நிற்கும்

- போகர் (Bogar)

Muladhara chakra lies in between genital organ and rectum, an excretory organ of human body where, three naadis say idai, pingalai, suzhumunai merge together.  However, accurately we can say that, 2 virarkadai* upper to rectum and 2 virakadai lower from genital organ is the exact location of muladhara chakra.

As this chakra keep afloat all other chakras, hence it is called as aathara chakra (base chakra). On briefing, this chakra has the energy source (Kundalini) needed for other chakras, which lies in a coiled form. Four important naadis arising from this chakras which can be imaged as four petals of lotus flower. Each naadi emerges with resonance of “VA SA CHA SHA” respectively.

According to Agathiyar’s poem, the likely image of muladhara chakra is shown below.

According to Siththars, these four letters can be correlated to manam (mind), puththi (knowledge), siththam (sense) and akangaaram (pride) respectively.

The yoni which is present in the centre of this chakra is termed as “kaamam”, which is worshipped by Siththars. This is the place where Kundalini lays motionless like sleeping. Lord Vinayaka is the principal god, Daahini/ Thaakini is principal goddess. The principal mantra for this chakra is “lam”.

Among the five basic elements, earth is part of this chakra and the related organ is kidney.

With the gracious blessings and guidance from guru, Kundalini will awake if practicing in the solitary place by continuous chanting of moolamantra and positioning the mind in muladhara chakra. This awakening can only be felt by self. I felt the feeling of raising warmth in muladhara, tingling feeling in muladhara along with goose flesh.

Person with awakened Kundalini can be ravenous and highly sleepy.

Kundalini and Preparation!

Author: தோழி / Labels:

Till now we have only seen the preparation to start Kundalini yoga. In that series, yesterday we have seen padmasana or sukhasana can be appropriate asana for practicing Kundalini.

While being in padmasana, spinal cord remains straight and breathe can reach thuriyam from muladhara without any barrier. Moreover, we can feel no tiredness in padmasana posture. While in padmasana posture, it is advised to use chin mudra or gnana mudra in fingers.

Now asana is ready and  the next thing is listening breathe. Some people stated that listening to breathe daily for certain period is enough, which I personally will not agree with that. Even Siththars have not specified or allocated any time limits for practicing. However, it will be better to listen till your capability or focus fades.

However one cannot listen breathe during the early days. Hence, it should not be trusted if any one says that they started listening.  Mind will wander out more than you imagine and one should see where all it goes. Finally, mind itself will come back to yourself and now focus your mind in listening breathe. Now you will achieve concentration. It is easy trick rather than forcing your mind to focus!

Mere listening of breathe is more than enough and did not expect any magical thing to happen during early days. This process is mainly intended to loosen up body, mind and breathe. However, you can feel the little changes as time passes and it can not be explained merely in words. With my experience, I can tell that there comes the internal serenity which we likes a lot.

Now, it is the appropriate time to start thinking about Kundalini.

Now, our implementation works includes two stages. First thing, we have to awake and raise Kundalini energy. Next thing is to guide the awakened Kundalini energy pass through six basic chakras.

This happens in six stages from muladhara to thuriyam. We can feel the concerned benefits on each of the chakras when it is blossomed. Now during this practice, we have to face body related problems too.

At last, we came to the stage of awakeneing Kundalini in muladhara, after all preparations and explanations.

Let us see the first chakra muladhara and the mode of practice, effects and benefits of it in the upcoming posts.

Stay tuned!

Kundalini… Breathe… Asana!!

Author: தோழி / Labels:

Our ancestors noted four distinguished way to stimulate and awake Kundalini in our human body. Those are karma yoga, bakthi yoga, gnana yoga and kiriya yoga. Each one has its unique way and one can choose according to their body and mind stability. We may get deviate from the topic, if these topics are explained further. Hence, we just see the basics of everything across the post.

Self realization is the first stage of this kundalini yoga. However, we understood this in various senses. We all think self realization as, seeing self in mirror, taking care of body, getting medical aid for health related problems and collecting materials and keeping it safe for one’s future and for relatives. All the above said actions were just understanding or keeping good of outer body.

How many of us felt or listened breathe? A basic harmony of human! Actual self realization starts with listening of breathing air. We usually do not consider this activity since, it is a natural activity where, air comes in and out on its self.  But actual significance lies in this breathe.

Breathing as well as air inhalation is a continuous constant process which can be realized only if we start listening it.   We were well aware of breathing process during normal and abnormal situation of mind. Listening the rhythm of breathing process is the first stage. We can feel the changes in us during this listening practice itself.

Siththars noted that, there are 4 ways of breathing in general viz, upper breathe (uyar suvaasam), medium breathe (maththima suvaasam), lower breathe (keezh suvaasam) and full breathe (muzhu suvaasam). We can see the concerned detailed information in separate post. Among these mentioned breathing style, we have to indentify ours and have to upgrade it to full breathe. Now you may recall pranayama and that is the point of posting these detailed information here.

Basically , Kundalini is neither magic nor illusion, it is just a practice. On grasping the full breathe, one can realize the basic rhythm. On listening this rhythm, mind will become calm down at that point. The anxious mind becomes serene and stable. The changes occurred during the process of mind settling down at breathe can point out your readiness for practicing Kundalini. This is basic and nothing is complex here. A person with full of eagerness and dedicated hard work along with proper guidance can attain this.

Before starting this Kundalini, practitioner should first select the unique calm place. Separate room may be good choice for practicing Kundalini for calm and comfortable practice. Farm area, terrain grass land, forest area, land nearer water bodies, flower gardens and jeeva samadhi are perfect place for practicing.

Next thing is asana. For Kundalini practice, it is not necessary to practice all asanas. However, it is essential to find and practice asanas which are comfortable and versatile. Padmasana which is a normal sitting posture is highly enough. And if a person felt padmasana as difficult one, they can sin in sukhasana (easy pose).

Ways to raise Kundalini!

Author: தோழி / Labels:

Many ways are noted down to raise Kundalini from muladhara. Commonly, pranayama (a breathing practice), asana, mudra are used to raise Kundalini.

Raja yogis raise Kundalini with their poised meditation and mind power.

Normal persons raise their Kundalini through devotion i.e, surrendering completely to the Supreme being.

Gnanis raise Kundalini with their ability of rationalizion and mental strength. This can also be termed as viveka vairakkiyam (intellectual determination).

Tantrikars (people who practices mantra), use mantras to raise Kundalini.

Above all, there is unique, simple way to escalate Kundalini. Getting darshan from guru, touch from guru, blessings from guru may stimulate Kundalini energy to raise. However, gurus with this extensive powers were not common nowadays and even the existed gurus will not give this opportunity to everyone.

Hence, there are so many ways to escalate Kundalini energy in our body. However, guru alone can decide an exact way for the practitioner and only guru can show us right path. However, process of stimulating and raising Kundalini may not be difficult and it may be simple and easy task.

Then, which part is difficult here?

Guiding the raised Kundalini energy upwards via 7 pivot energy centres is the difficult part here. Raising energy, stage by stage and to reach the final stage viz, thuriyam in top of head is not at all an easy task. Only persons with endurance, continuous hard work, purity and dedication can achieve this task. They can achieve all powers.

The raised Kundalini when reaches every pivot energy centres, it gets opened. It is a slow process. On opening in particular stage, the energy which is correlated to lotus structure will start facing upwards or towards human face. This process is termed as blossoming of chakra. Hereafter, let us call this pivot energy centres as chakras.

The escalated Kundalini when passes through every chakras emits unique energy at each stage. The energy emitted at that time is termed as siddhi.

Let us see further information in upcoming posts.

Kundalini and Practitioner!

Author: தோழி / Labels:

Kundalini is neither myth nor magic. It is a type of internal psychological technique. The function and performance of Kundalini is attained only when we tries to understand it. In this practice, changing the static nature of Kundalini energy is termed as escalating. However, disseminate might be the most appropriate word rather than, escalation.

Our ancestors noted many ways to stimulate Kundalini which we can discuss later. Siththars gave out the complete instructions regarding the qualifications of practitioner.

The foremost thing of practitioner is to find the real guru. Before this, practitioner must control his likeness to minimal level and should be very deterministic person. Guru himself reaches a person having virtuous mind who controlled his emotional likeness. Moreover, guru himself will guide him compassionately. A person who practices under this compassionate guru could get full result of Kundalini.

If, a tainted person escalates Kundalini with the power of asana, pranayama, mudras will definitely fallen down and spoil himself. Moreover, he will lose his ability to climb the ladder of yogic nature. This is the cause of disability or inoperative nature seen in some persons.

Actually, nothing is wrong with learning yoga. But, people should be well ethical and disciplined. Next thing is, they should have in depth knowledge on what they are practicing! Next, a practitioner need appropriate Guru. A practitioner have to face lot of hindrances while, practicing Kundalini. Only a person with ethical discipline can overcome those obstacles. Otherwise, he will not have strength to overcome those obstacles.

Further, mere practicing as per instruction on Kundalini is not enough and practitioner should have sound knowledge about Kundalini on whole. Person lack of full knowledge of Kundalini will definitely lag behind in reaching victory. That is why it become essential to give out full information regarding Kundalini here in our blog.

Let us see the ways to escalate Kundalini in upcoming posts.

Kundalini and Naadi

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

Till now we have seen the basic information regarding Kundalini like: What is called kundalini? Where it lies in the human body? How it looks like? What all it can do?

In next stage, let us see the process of escalating Kundalini, its working, effects and also the experience.

Before that, I request readers to kindly read this intermediate post.  Since, I previously mentioned that 72000 naadis are in our human body, it is highly essential to know about this now.

Naadi, which is a Tamil word has direct meaning as naaduthal (searching), noakuthal (looking). As, it is looking for necessity of human body, it may be named as naadi.  For explaining it further, we can correlate naadi with the nervous system of human body as per our modern science. Unlike nervous system, we cannot see these naadis with naked eyes and it only can be sensed.

Siththars says, human body is composed of 72000 naadis knotted together. With further explanation, we can say that: 7000 naadi in head, 2000 naadi in right eye, 2000 naadi in left eye, 3330 naadi in nose, 1500 naadi in right ear, 1500 naadi in left ear, 1000 naadis in back neck, 8000 naadis below the neck of back, 3680 naadis in back, 1000 naadis in throat, 8990 naadis in navel, 1500 naadis in right hand, 1500 naadis in left hand, 3000 naadis  in hip ligament, 8000 naadis in between legs, 2000 naadis below bijam, 2000 naadis above bijam, 13000 naadis in kosam and 1000 naadis in ankle and so totally 72000 naadis.

Among these, Siththars noted 10 naadis as important one viz, pingalai, idangalai, suzhumunai, sikuvai, kaanthaari, purudan, aththi, alampudai, sangini and guru.

Pinkalai flows in right nostril, idankalai flows in left nostril, suzhumunai flows in between the nostrils, sikuvai in inner tongue, kaanthari in left eye, purudan in right eye, aththi in right ear, alampudai in left ear, sangini in genital organ and finally guru flows in anus.

Our Siththars says, our soul energy acts with the interconnected 72000 naadis. All these naadis combined and distributed themselves from seven centres. Siththar’s called these centres as “Aathara maiyyam”, means base centre. These seven pivot points activate our body which lies in between muladhara and thuriyam of head tip.

Kakapusandar explains it as follows;

உச்சிதலை நெற்றிவிழி புருவமத்தி
uchithalai netrivizhi puruvamaththi
உரச்சங்கு மார்புநெஞ்சு உந்திமூலம்
urachangu maarpunenju unthimoolam
பிச்சிகலை யிடுப்பின் கீழ் முழங்கால் பாதம்

- காகபுசுண்டர் (Kaakapusundar)

1. Muladhara 2.  Svadhishthana  3. Manipura 4. Anahata  5. Vishuddha  6. Ajna 7. Thuriyam are the base centres. These are placed in human body at 1. Moolam (between genital organ and anus), 2. Navel, 3. Upper abdomen, 4. Chest, 5. Throat, 6. Middle of eyebrows and  6. Tip of head respectively,.

Till now, we have seen about the naadis and the basic information about aathara maiyyam. As Kundalini have to pass through these energy base centres, it become essential to introduce this post here.

What will happen if Kundalini rises?

Author: தோழி / Labels: ,

As we seen that, Kundalini is nothing but the static energy concealed in body and it is curled as 31/2 coiled snake buried in muladhara. This Kundalini exists in every Human. According to Siththars, we can make it glorious experience and energy, it we sense and stimulate it.

Before stimulating Kundalini, let us see the clarification notes of Siththars concerning human body. Siththars says, our human body is composed of 72000 interconnected naadis which are connected to seven basic energy centres. As we are going to see this clarification in upcoming posts, now let us continue the Kundalini.

As we correlated Kundalini with the inactive snake, then what will be the effect if we tease snake? It will start hissing angrily right!  Then the obvious activity of hissing snake is to crawl, right!!

Ofcourse! If we stimulate Kundalini, it starts moving upwards from muladhara. That upraised Kundalini energy starts from muladhara and moves upwards till thuriyam in tip of head. If we make Kundalini energy to reach thuriyam, samadhi state is possible. According to Kaakapusandar, this stage is called  “Sanjaara Samadhi”.

What will happen, if we escalate Kundalini energy to thuriyam from muladhara?

Konganavar explain this experience via following poem;

உணர்வற்று வுடலற்று யோகமற்று
unarvatru vudalatru yogamatru
 யோடுவது மாடுவது மிரண்டுமற்று
 yoaduvathu maaduvathu mirandumatru
பணர்வற்று நினைவற்றுப் பாசமற்றுப்
panarvatru ninaivatrup paasamatrup
 பார்க்கிறதும் பாராது மிரண்டுமற்றுச்
 paarkkirathum paaraathu mirandumatruch
சுணர்வற்று லெச்சயற்றுக் கூச்சமற்று
sunarvatru lechayatruk koochamatru
 சொல்வதுவுஞ் சொல்லாது மிரண்டுமற்று
 solvathuvunj sollaathu mirandumatru
நிணர்வற்ற நிட்களத்தில் நிலைத்துப் போக
ninarvatra nitkalaththil nilaththpu poaka
 நேராக குண்டலியை நிலைத்துப் பாரே
 naeraka kundaliyai nilaiththup paarae.

-  கொங்கணவர் (Konganavar)

According to Konganavar, one can practice Kundalini yoga if, they want themselves to be free of sense, without body, without yoga, without running, without moving, without conscious, without affection, with numbness in both seeing and not seeing, with numbness in listening, shying, talking and not talking and also if they make themselves to be capitulated by eternal Brahmam* in both mind and senses.

Now we have to start escalating Kundalini energy. Is it possible in single stretch? Or else, we have to move it stage by stage?

Let us see further explanation in upcoming post.

Siththars and Kundalini

Author: தோழி / Labels: , ,

We may consider today’s post as the actual starting of Kundalini series. The previous preparatory posts with basic information may help in understanding previous posts.

Siththars who were not talking about Kundalini is very rare in Siththalogy.  Almost every Siththars talks about magnificence of kundalini in one way or other.  They highlight that by uprising Kundalini, ordinary feeling can be escalated to Parabrahma* feeling.

Kundalam refers to the curled jewel used as earring. Similarly, the static energy lies in muladhara as curled and rounded snake, hence named as Kundalini. We can escalate this Kundalini by art of yoga. The energy of Kundalini can be correleated to snake.

Kaakapusandar says the location of Kundalini in his poem as follows:

குண்டலியைக் கண்டாக்காற் கருக்குமென்பார்
kundaliyaik kandaakkaar karukkumenbaar
குண்டலியி னிருப்பிடமும் மூலமென்றார்
Kundaliyi niruppidamum moolamenraar

குருவென்றார் வாலையென்றார் குமரனென்றாரே
kuruvenraar vaalaiyenraar kumaranenraarae.

- காகபுசுண்டர் (Kaakapusandar)

Siththars described Kundalini using many names. One of such Siththar Konganavar’s poem is as follows;

சிறந்திட்ட குண்டலியின் பேர் செப்பக் கேளு
siranthitta kundaliyin paer seppak kaelu
சிறப்பான சிவயோக மென்றுபேரு
sirappaana sivayoaka menrupaeru

- கொங்கணவர் (Konganavar)

Kundalini can be termed as follows; sivayoga, vaasi yoga, suzhiyoga, rajayoga, arasan, sabai etc,. Konganavar says, one can get kaya siddhi and gnaana siddhi if, we learn and practice Kundalini properly.

We have seen the location of muladhara in human body in the previous post. Thirumoolar’s Thirumanthiram tells the pose of Kundalini in muladhara.  In all humans, at the bottom of spinal cord where muladhara lies; there is Kundalini as 3 ½ curled sleeping snake like energy with its face gazing downwards with tail in its mouth.

The main objective of this Kundalini yoga is to escalate the above said sleeping Kundalini energy.

Let us see this topic elaborately in the upcoming posts.

Kundalini… Further Clarifications!!

Author: தோழி / Labels:

  • Our human body is composed of panjapootham*
  • The energy which is actively working in and around body is referred as soul
  • The spread form of soul is called mind
  • Mind has two faces within; “wisdom” and “strength” which are unique.
  • Mind do only two works viz, ‘realization’ and ‘to make realize’
  • It is necessary to be active for upgrading ‘realization’ and ‘to make realize’ stage
  • It is possible to upgrade our active state to unique upper level by stimulating kundalini.
These are the concise points of previous posts. However, nothing is newer here as, many of us know these things previously. However, previous post may help readers to get basic structure of kundalini.

Let us see some more basic information regarding kundalini.

Kundalini is nothing but the static energy hidden in every human being. Now you might recall the previous posts regarding static and dynamic energy.

Where lies kundalini?

It is said that, kundalini lies between reproductive and excretory organ. That means, it is hidden in between the anus and genital system of human body. This place is also termed as “Muladhara”.

Why it is named as kundalini?

It has its own reason behind this naming convention. ‘Kundam’, refers to the place where materials gets safely accumulated and cannot be ejected out easily. This kundam is highly equivalent to our human body. Kundam is the place where the energy called kundalini is engrossed.

Who all can learn this kundalini? Is it possible for everyone to learn?

The answer is simple; those who learn with focus and hard work can this art. However, learning under Guru’s proper guidance is virtuous.

In how many days, kundalini started to rise?

Definitely, nothing is possible overnight. However, the three necessary things viz, serenity, patience and focused determination makes kundalini possible.

What Siththars told about kundalini?

Let us discuss the Siththars view on kundalini in the upcoming post.

*Panjapootham - the five elements viz., earth, air, fire, water and sky.

Kundalini… Mind?

Author: தோழி / Labels:

My Tamil teacher often says, the word “Manathinan (one who has mind)” is reformed into “Manithan (Human)”. We consistently use the words manushan (man) and manushi (woman) in our day to day life. So our mind becomes our only true identity. Other than this, all the identities we use based on religion, caste, gender, community etc. are just an illusion, which are destroyable. Whereas mind is subtle and non- destroyable.

Some people say that, mind is a part of soul. But Siththars enunciated that, both mind and soul are same and  not a different one. Mind refers to spread range of soul. Also, mind has two faces within; one is clarified face called “wisdom” and another is “strength” refers to power. Each one of two is unique. However, one without another is useless. Mind becomes a complete one if both wisdom and strength works together.

The power of mind during that unity is extra- ordinary and it cannot be measured. Further, these types of mind were ruling this earth.

Alright! What is the use of this mind to human?

Answer is very simple. Mind make us feel… to realize.

That’s it!

How is it possible?

Mind makes us to feel through its sensory organs in its own unique path. Like, we cannot feel the taste through eyes, cannot feel the sound through ear. Similar way, different yet unique feeling takes place through 12 sensory organs via different paths. Till now, we heard about only 5 sensing organs. But Siththalogy notifies about 12 sensory organs, which we can see later.

However, these sensations were accumulated in a particular common point called mind. We can also say as sensations get settled. However, a person’s victory, smartness, uniqueness and all depends on how far our faces of minds, wisdom and strength, handle these accumulated sensations.

Only mind has ability to listen sensations actively and act accordingly. Other organs works on it control.

So it is must for wisdom and strength of mind to be all set during active stage.

Kundalini… Realization?

Author: தோழி / Labels:

I hope that our readers might get the picture of basics of kundalini from previous two posts. On the continuation, today we will see other information in this aspect.

Soul is the energy centre of our body which activate and drive the body. Body health becomes good when this soul energy soar up. When this energy lapses, body health will get deteriorate and affected by diseases. This is the basic of living as we discussed so far.

There may be changes in the human body but all our souls are highly alike. Then, where comes the ups and downs in human life? Answer is very simple! A person who realize himself and act accordingly become virtuous and those who do not realize himself become decadent. Here, the word realization means a lot. Hence, we are going to discuss about this realization in this post. Since, the philosophy behind the word realization is too vast, we herein consider only the essential part.

Realization is the continual process. This process of realization occurs till our last breath in one or another way. This realization gives us the feelings and it is highly important.  Yet this realization never stays in our mind but the feelings it gave is with us.

The feelings which continuously get gathered in us will show the path of our realization at a matter of time. Then at a stage, it starts to lead us.

One example will help our readers to get the complete view of this topic. Consider yourself as a child. Your mother shows good care on you and you feel her affection. You have become grown up man. As time flies, your mother eventually becomes older and weaker. Now your inner feelings that get gathered all these days will get stimulated and you will take care of your mother.

Let us see another example. Consider yourself as a child and a person continuously tortures you. You have developed a feeling of extreme dislike. As time passes and now you become grown up and that person become older and weak. What will your hatred feelings do? How will it get exposed?

This is the difference between realization and feeling. Siththars were telling this as experience.

Those who started to feel about their body will get realization to taking care their health. This feeling stimulates oneself to find the way for healthy body. It denies the food that is not good for health and will make you to do physical exercise, take healthy food diet which ultimately results in radiance and strong body.

Hence, good food habit and physical exercise gives oneself a strong and radiant body.

It is okay for body. How about soul?

The answer is from the previous posts. Can you remember the two ways? Of course, devotion and wisdom gives out a way to protect and develop soul.

We often think like, that devotional path lies with going to temple and performs customs, traditions, poojas etc. However, this path is encouraged to divert our mind from material world and make oneself highly focused. According to Siththars, it is first stage and if one realize this stage, the next stage will come naturally.

How it is possible?

Will see in the next post.
