A deer running in a desert on seeing a mirage, considers it as water and runs for it. Likewise, we human consider this earthly life as real and get immersed in happiness. But the people who resolve the puzzles and take their life a step ahead donot get lost in the earthly life. They beleive only in the eternal truth. The deer which thinks the mirage as water body and keeps running behind it, the mirage also runs forward as it chases it and finally the deer falls tired without getting the water.
Even the human life also becomes like the deer that considers the mirage as water. Even before they know what the eternal truth is, their life comes to an end. This idealogy has been illustrated in a very simple words by Pambatti Sidhar.
Here is the following song,
“கானலை மான் நீரெனவே கண்டு செல்லல் போல்
kaanalai maan neerenavae kandu sellalpoal
காசினிவாழ் வினைமூடர் கண்டு களிப்பர்
kaasinivaazh vinaimoodar kandu kalippar
மேனிலை கண்டார்கள் வீணாய் வீம்பு பேசிடார்
maenilai kandaarkal veenaai veembu paesidaar
மேய்யன்பதம் நாடுவாரேன்று ஆடுபாம்பே!
maeyyanbatham naaduvaaraenru aadupaambae!”
