Today, we are going to see about puruva maiya darshan, which is slightly different from the previously discussed one. Agathiyar instructed that, one can practice the previous darshans in our desired place whereas, this puruva maiya darshan must be practiced merely at Sathuragiri forest. However, no background reason is pointed out in this regard.
Let us see about the puruva maiya darshan in Agathiyar words.
பாரப்பா நாசினுனி தெரிசனமுஞ்சொன்னேன்
paarappaa naasinuni therisanamunj sonnaen
பரிவான புருவமய்யத் தெரிசனத்தைக்கேளு
parivaana puruvamaiyaath therisanathaikkaelu
நேரப்பா மனம்நிறுத்தி மவுனம்பூட்டி
naerappaa manamnirutthi mavunampootti
நேர்மையடன் சுழினையிலே மனக்கண்சாற்றி
naermaiyudan suzhinaiyilae manakkansaatri
காரப்பா கனிந்தமனங் கொண்டு மைந்தா
kaarapaa kanithamanang kondu mainthaa
கருணையுடன் நின்றுதவம் செய்தாயாகில்

மேரப்பா வளமானசதுரகிரி சென்றுதானே

மெஞ்ஞான சோதிசிவ சோதியாமே.

சோதியென்ற ஆதியடா சுழினைக்கம்பம்

சாதியென்ற வன்னியடா ஆவிதன்னை
saathiyenra vanniyadaa aavithannai
தனையறிந்து சோதியாம் தன்னில்சேரே

ஆரப்பா அறிவார்கள் ஆதியந்தம்
aarapaa arivaarkal aathiyantham
அடங்கிநின்ற பரசுரூபம் வெளிதானாச்சே.

One should go to Sathuragiri and start practicing austerity by focusing the mind in suzhimunai, through which one can see the Siva jothi darshan. Agathiyar instructed that, along with that jothi, one should combine the focused and stable mind, which ultimately leads to the knowledge of origin and end and also the vision of Parasu roopam*.
No specific mantras are specified for this darshan. However, we can obviously taken into account that the siddhi attained through the previous darshans will lead us to attain siddhi in this darshan.
