Pinnakkeesar had dual tongue, which means his tongue was cleaved, and hence he was named after it. Pinnakkeesar, who was born to Idaiyachi, was a great scholar in Tamil. He was born in Karnataka. These were said by Bogar. Pinnakkeesar was disciple of Pambaatti Siththar and Machcha Muni was disciple of Pinnakkeesar.
