As a sequence of the yoga mudras finally we shall see the details of the Suvakarana mudra.
Danvanthiri in his book "Danvanthiri Vaithiyam 1000" has wrote about the Suvakarana mudra in the following way.
"சாற்றுவது சுவகரண முத்திரையைக் கொண்டு
saatruvathu suvakarana muththiraiyaik kondu
sangaiyudan sammenru thiyaananjseyyil
parthibanae sathaakoadi manthiramunjsiththi
sagalakalai saaththiramunj siththi
thoatriyathoar aathaara moolanjsiththi
thiruvaasi aanathoru vaasisiththi
thoaththiramaai ninraathoru poosaisiththi
sugamaana aaraana muththiraiyunjsiththae"
1000 (Danvanthiri Vaithiyam 1000)
Keep the Suvakarana mudra in both the hands and close the eyes, and through the mind's vision see the middle of the eyebrows and chant the "SAM" mantra in the mind and meditate. By doing this we may get the benefit that could be attained by chanting a ten crore number of mantras, all the customs, realise the supreme being.
All these yoga mudras are to be done in the early morning i.e., in the brahma muhurtham. On doing it this way the levels of the panjaboothas in the body remain constant. The benefits that we could attain by doing this cannot be counted. This will be more effective if we start practising under the guidance of the guru.
With this the Yoga mudra series comes to an end. In the next post we shall see another information.
