The main aim of discussing Siththars mantrika in our blog is to enlighten the readers about the basic importance and necessity of mantrika and also eliminating the dreadful feeling about it.
More over, mantrika is one of the two ways to attain mukthi in siddhalogy. It might be new to many readers, however it is necessary to share the basics and stages of Siththars mantrika in our blog.
It is not an easy task to share all about the topic mantrika just in 25 posts. Since its boundary is infinite, it may take almost a year to describe the topic in depth. Hence, as we said, mantrika’s asta karma has been seen discussed till. With gguru’s permission and if time supports in future, we can see the mantrika in detail up to my knowledge.
Even though, mantrika exists in various places in world, there is no scientific evidence proving its truthness. However, many people have written about mantrika, which infer us, that it was widely in use. We need more discussions and research activities to bring out the mantrika’s truthness. I have no idea, whether any one practicing this art in ‘Tamil’ culture. According to my concern, it can be seen as pschycological based art.
Even though, asta karma explains about the eight stages of mantrika, we have no correct idea about its order. Available information describes it as basic stages. However, there is no information regarding the starting and ending stages, which I am still searching. However, it is clearly inferred that, one should start practicing a new stage only after attaing siddhi in previous one.
Mantrika must be learned only through guru’s guidance. Only perfect guru can teach their students in right path. We have already seen the way to find appropriate right guru. Interested readers can read the older posts and refresh it. Guru is a person with full of kindness and care and well wisher. Hence one can get guru’s blessing only if we believe him and surrender us wholeheartedly.
Siththars have stated that, one with good physical and mental fitness only can start practicing this art. Even though, the practicing methods are given in Siththars poems, it is best to practice under guru’s guidance. We should believe that, ‘nothing is greater than our guru’.
Thirumoolar and many other Siththars were written in detail about mantrika and it might take one’s life time to gather and post all information. Hence, in our post, we have seen only Karuvoorar’s mantrika technique so far.
I only have literal knowledge about mantrika and have not gained any practical experience in this art. My only focus is to share the Siththars quotes and poems.
Siththars mantrika highly differs from Malayala mantrika. Even though, there may be some similarities in basics. The focus and functioning of each highly differ from one another.
The chanting methods are discussed in older posts. From starting itself, I repeatedly told that, there is no scientific evidence describing the truthfulness of mantrika. Hence, there is no doubt, that it may be considered for argument till we got any scientific evidence. We might get clear view of this art, only through future researches regarding mantrika art.
We should have correct reason before rejecting one thing as false hope. We should not forget that, even small information will be useful somewhere.
In upcoming post, we will see with another exciting Sithar’s information.
I would like to thank all our fellow readers for constant support and encouragement.
