Aakrusanam mainly denotes, occupying concerned living beings and make them to obey. We can occupy from fellow humans, animals to goddess and the list goes on. In general, this art invokes comparatively bad things rather than good things.

Siththars considered and used this art as a supportive trick in their limitless search.

Similar to other mantrika arts, aakrusanam also requires preparation.

The principal god of Aakrusanam is Varuna*.

One should start practicing this art on friday.

The moolamantra for aakrusanam is “Om vasimanaya sriyum savvum kiliyum suvaaka”.

One should face west direction and must sit in vennaaval (Myrtaceae species) plank.

One should wear chain composed of chank and use chank rosary for chanting mantra.

Oleander flower is used to perform archanai on yantra.

Owl colour silk cloth should be used to wear and also wear it to yantra.

For aakrusanam, yantra should be drawn on silver or copper plate.

In the upcoming post, we will see about information for designing yantra and technique to attain siddhi in this art.
