Mantrika means!!

Mantrika has its unique core in almost all countries throughout the World. Even though we do not see any scientific evidence to prove the trueness of the mantrika, the functions and its effects are recorded to a considerable extent.

Every country based on its religion has its own beliefs in mantrika and these things are commonly found in internet. Here I would like to share the information regarding beliefs of mantrika based on Hinduism and further explaining siththar’s practice in the mantrika.

Even though mantrika has many branches in Hinduism, their basic origin is common only. From the previous posts, we acquired some knowledge about the subject mantra and those who would wish to know it can read.

“Manthiram kaal mathi mukkaal” is a Tamil proverb, which means, mantra is only one quarter and intellect is three quarters.  It will be a surprising fact if I say that this ‘intellect’ is the mantrika we are going to discuss. Mantra is a static energy and this energy is of no use until we know how to use it.

We can not cultivate in plain land until its ploughed and all necessary conditions for cultivation are met. Similarly mantrika can be achieved only by using the static energy mantra properly. And this proper method is called as tantra by Siththars. One who has strong mental strength and steady focus is capable of doing anything in excellence, whether it is good or bad.

Almost everyone who have religious beliefs will know at least one mantra and will be chanting it daily. However that mantra will not give its effect to everyone. So there is no use of chanting mantra until we know the technique of changing static to the kinetic energy. Here comes the mantra. Mantrika is completing an action through a power which is formed by integrating the energy sources.

From the gathered information, mantrika is used in various forms as sorcery, witchcraft, aeval (commanding the demons), vaippu (artificial illusion performed by demons) and vasiyam*. We will see the introduction about this various forms in next post.

*Vasiyam – the magical art of bringing people, animals, devils etc under one’s control
